The ultimate callout Challenge competitors hit the dirt for the sled pull at ucc 2019. #ucc19 #sledpull #truckpull #cummins #powerstroke #duramax #1320video #dieselpower #truckpulling #truckpulls #sledpull
I don't care what your favorite truck model is, or who your favorite person is. Tony burkhardt and his team absolutely thrashed after the Dyno mishap. For those who don't understand that it's s big feat to swap a whole driveline and electrical in one night....whether your a performance shop or an average Joe, to sort through the good and the bad in one night and come back to make a hell of a pull....nothing but pure respect for those guys.
Brendan Bruce simple wiring harness hence why they had 3 with the and new motor swap they didn’t tear down and rebuild that motor back ups all built for quick and easy repair or replacement speed is key in all aspects not just racing or pulling
PDD built one mean truck, that bad boy can pull. and they call themselves rookie pullers haha. Mad props to the DHD crew for piecing that truck together!!!! Good job boys!!!
They did a recap video and they said they were on only 5 cylinders for half the pull and at the elf they were on 4. to think what would they have been able to do with all 6 cylinders
@@rustedratchetgarage6788 Right, because everyone and their brother can go from one completely custom one-off setup to another in 18 hours. They replaced every bit of wiring, plumbing, and circuitry in that truck from the cab up. Get fucked.
Its funny to see all those companies advertised on trucks producing those diesel monsters bragging about performance ending up blowing after few meters :D
Ahhh good ol 12 valves doing what they do best. Actually putting that power to the ground and pulling. Glad to see PDD make some clean runs. Ford’s just kept doing ford things lol Best comeback ever-DHD 👍👍👍
David Pinto really? Plenty of other trucks had cut tires and more hp. You can have all the traction in the world but if you’re not putting power to that traction then it’s useless
That Duramax did good I'm a Dodge Ram nut in Ram trucks when more truck pulls in any other brand Ram tough but they had the worst day today cuz I've ever seen in pool LOL
Watching these guys has me thinking of developing a CO2 engine fire suppression system. Eliminate the fire with absolutely no mess. You want to go in halves ? 🤣
I have a system where if any cylinders EGT sensor sees above 1,100 a solenoid opens to allow inert gasses to enter that cylinder to lower combustion temps in hopes to spare the sacrificial piston.
The pan on the sled that moves towards the front has huge amount of weight in it. As it approaches the end it slams the sled to the ground which has angle iron and things that dig into the ground stopping the trucks.
What a great video. I've always been a die hard dodge fan but truly respect the other pulling trucks. there is so much blood sweat and tears in all of these. I know no motor is bullet proof, if you make enough power it will eventually blow, but it seems like the powerstokes catch fire a lot more when something happens, why is that?
Jesse catches fire all the time i have no idea why lol but pushing 1900 hp out of a 6.0 is some serious power. Respectable showing for the powerstrokes against the worlds toughest competition.
Maybe it’s having two exhaust manifolds instead of one like a Cummins, more chance of a fire if something leaks. On a Cummins, the fuel rail and pump is on the opposite side of the exhaust manifold.
Master shredder is probably the most badass truck there, a close second was the DHD guys. They take my vote for not giving up!!! The rest of those trucks seem half ass.
17:15 hard to believe someone nearly died inside that truck. Kudos to the guys to get her up and running again so quickly. Check out the dirt flicking straight into the turbo bell mouths lol. No fucks given, just send it !!!!
What’s the point of having a light Fiberglass front end if your going to hang a bunch of weight off the nose?? I get ballast weight for tuning but does it really mater
Have to understand the competition. Its a 3 day event where you take the SAME truck drag racing, dyno, and then sled pull. That explains why a lot of these trucks are more drag than pull.
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA something that is ok for every thing 🤣 is good at nothing🤣 are shop is right next door to Fleece. They are some really good dudes. I didn’t know it was a all around comp. that explains all the shifting problems🤓
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA tell them dudes to put real beads back on. Having weight up high over the rear end is great for drag racing!!!🤣 that’s why you always see wagons at the drag strip
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA I live on the west coast in Lake Tahoe. I fly to all of the races. We are having a big open house the week before the US nationals. I talked to my team manager about having the fleece guys and their trucks at the open house party. If you can make the trip we would love to have you? I can work on some vip tickets to the US Nats if you would like to attend it?
Funny be cause every Ford failed there and there were way more Cummins trucks so yeah you're going to have more numbers wise, but by percentage fords failed way more.
There is a significant advantage with bar tires . Dot tires dont come close to the traction they provide in sled pullin. They should all have to use one or the other.
Really depends on the surface. Plenty of guys would argue that dot tires running duals on the rear can be better. In fact the 2nd place truck is rumming dot tires on the front cuts on the back. Its an open competition so you can choose what to run.
Was this amateur hour at broke down shit raceway??? I have been to some pretty podunk back woods pulls and have never seen so much broke down shit at one event...is truck and tractor pulls new to this area???
New to Indiana? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hard no. Understand the event a little and you'll get it. It's a 3 day event where you take the SAME truck drag racing dyno and sled pulling. Most of these are drag trucks fitted to doing sled pull business.
And the EPA grumbles about my deleted 11 250SD. More smoke from one pull then my truck makes all year. Not saying the pulls are bad, love them, but just saying.
I think there were three or four trucks that made their pull without something breaking. That's really too bad so many of the trucks break because they are all seriously bad ass.
i just a note from an old school puller, if the track it this loose roll out and build your boost under roll or have fun blowing the tires off and going nowhere
As I read the comments, I'm wondering what the hell you guys are watching? All I'm seeing in this video is a bunch of busted trucks pulling a sled. Every truck broke but one.
Nah not when you see the money these guys were after. Its easy to sit behind a screen and say what you would do but if you were there to pull you would've pulled.
l just figured out what happened to the 80s monster truck guys.... these guys break down so much it has to be them. Now they are old and off the alcohol and into rollin coal.
The trucks have to run in 3 events at the call out challenge. So they just bolt on dual wheels for this event. They also have to do a dyno run and drag race.
The track was really bad. Really bad. Can't blame them at all. The guys who pull regularly got down the track by pedaling it at the start. The guys who dont pull much struggled a little harder.
@@BUILTDIESELMAFIA damn shame seeing that newer (6.7?) Dodge struggling to even get going. I wanted to see how those new engines hold up to stuff like this

@@Snattle_Rake best truck there 11:50 imo. He hit his rev limiter on a 6 cyl engine like a dozen times with retarded amounts of horsepower and torque and engine pressure. Id say considering all the fords blew and only a handful of the cummins blew and one random chevy made it down the track cummins had the best average.
