You can get these in the US. I bought it from offroadalliance.com and it was shipped to my house. You can also get them from some Rhino Linings franchises.
@@Buck0seven hey buddy. So I had a roll over with the Jeep. I was lucky. Just a bump on the head. 3 witnesses came forth and was awarded my full deductible back. The real deal was coming outta the with my full body intact and alive!
@@Buck0seven so I never invested in a roof top tent. I go fishing on the beach and been sleeping in the back of my new Ford 150 with 6 and half foot bed. With ARE top. Might pull the trigger soon as I have installed racks on top my self. Also have Kit to enforce the weight of my roof top riding at 60 miles and hour on the highways. I dint order there ready made rack system. That was typos and another story or I would have had the new roof top on but I wanna saying thanks to your response. Check out my rig as far as storage in the back. I’m have a video out
What are the dimensions on that internal offset FrontRunner rack? ~1,475mm x 1,170mm? ~1,220mm x 940mm? Looks like its mounted to the driver side bed rail and to the bottom of the SmartKitchen on the passenger. Are all the mounting brackets custom, they don't resemble anything I've seen FrontRunner come out with, it's sitting so low. Really clever addition, would love to do a similar offset rack shelf inside a bed canopy. Also, any American distributors or hopes of making it across the pond to us?
Hi, just 2 questions. 1) Is your favourite frontrunner rack mounted to the canopy or to the truck bed? 2) And how easy/difficult is it to install/remove. In case of the occasional larger item transport.
Hi Henri, 1.) It is mounted to the truck bed using modified mounting brackets that bolt's into to the SmartCanopy mounting brackets. 2.) It requires unbolting, thus you need to ensure the right torque is applied so the SmartCanopy is secured.
@@SmartCanopy Thx for the info. That should be no mayor problem. I understood that all sales go through your Spanish office. If I can get hold of a Raptor, you will receive a request through them. I already had contact with your office regarding a special request to laser some extra holes in the vertical walls of the side boxes to accommodate Molle bags and other attachments using velcro straps or other brackets. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOLLE For me, and likely more people, this would be a very useful addition. The laser time pays for itself, seen the benefits in wast and recovery of stainless steel. That way the backside of the boxes would be ideal to attach larger stuff. Like some recovery boards, tent poles or whatever else.
SHIP. TO. NORTH. AMERICA!!! I will buy one tomorrow if you do! Oh...... and kill the repetitive background music. It’s too loud, and really not needed.
I just wonder what is smart about this canopy? The table is awkward to remove as it often gets stuck, the pull ring is a hassle and there are better solutions. The locks are flimsy and tend to loosen, thereby bending the flaps outside. Difficult to adjust the locks.
@@Dhleeiv Yes, I do, and besides the above mentioned issues it does perform as expected. I just feel that the manufacturers use the buyers as test subjects and do not invest enough thought into their products.
@@pahnked Trying to decide between RSI and RLD. Seems like less pieces make the most sense but I’ve never owned a cap and don’t know what’s good and what’s bad.
@@Dhleeiv I saw the new or more advanced RSI the other day and it actually looked very good. The niggles that I have had seem to be sorted everything feels solid. Especially the table retrieval has been improved and works like a charm.
