A great tip when Organizing shoes is to place them ‘heel to toe’ you’d be surprised how much space that gives u

Another thing you can use on sheets & the bed to make the linens smell good is spray-on face toner. Because then it’s good for your skin when you lay down & also makes the bed smell lovely. I use Lush - Tea Tree Water or the Thayers Witch Hazel - Rose Water Toner. Also if you download the “Think Dirty” app, you can search a plethora of household products that only have clean ingredients!

I love, love, LOVE your videos! It's so funny because my husband and I literally just went through our closet, color coordinated shoes, and got a shoe rack just a few days ago! Lol. & our closets look identical! I did pick up our shoe rack from Walmart though and I was able to store up to 20 pairs of shoes! Also.. your hair... LOVE IT

Great job of the items that you got rid of! I've been practicing minimalism for 5 years now but I still need some work! My idea of clothing / items have definitely changed and knowing I don't need an item or if I'm not using it, I am so quick to donate, sell, or toss. It's an amazing feeling! ❤️‍🔥

A little tip that i have done w my clothes. I have a lot of clothes w very small space. What have done is i turn the hangers backwards and when iij purg at the season and that hanger has not been move then i know i need to pull it and get rid of it. Plus w my snall space i have to keep the different season w only one season out at a time. Hope this helps

You should think of investing in space saving hangers. You can purchase them at Shein, the $1 store, the Container Store, Target, wal*mart anywhere. They really do the trick. You can fit 9 pieces of clothing in 1 hanger.

I know this video is a year old. But for my long dresses i fold them in half over the bottom bar of the hanger so that way they don’t hang so far down.

Can I suggest you to store your shoes 1 at the back and 1 at the front instead of pair by pair, side by side? As I think the shelf has a bit of depth that would allow you to do so. Especially for those on the carpet (the lower shelf).

I have only 18 hangers of ever day wear for winter and about the same for summer. I hang everything but jeans. What keeps me from being minimal is clothes for church. I have about the same amount of those for summer and winter.

We have a Trailer house small closet 2 shelves on one side the other has one .They also each have hangers to hang clothes I ended up getting 20 of those metal hangers helps a lot . I wish i had my sisters closet she doesn't use it . I do a lot of tie dying i am addicted it it because i love color .If i get bored i tie- dye it again add new colors . If the tie -dye isn't to my liking i tend to use them for cleaning or i throw away . i have like a dresser full of ones i do not tie dye . I just can't see giving away my clothes i like and wear . I did jeans tops bleached them . I make sure i can wear them in public .

i know this was posted a year ago but about 3 mins in when she mentions a room spray with only essential oils i have a lil tip! i put mostly water, a good amount of witch hazel, and some hearty dashes of lavender and mint essential oil in a spray bottle and it works beautifully for my room!! im forgetting the science atm but the witch hazel helps prevent the essential oil from having a painful reaction on skin iykwim??

Thank you so much! The kombucha I think is easiest to start with is the kevita brand...but try to find some that are low sugar. I like berry flavors more than the "ginger" ones. You want to drink it within a few hours because it is supposed to stay cold. I usually drink half each day and save the rest for another day in the refrigerator.

I am all about a good smelling home, too and totally agree it makes me think of how people live based on it. You can make your own room spray with essential oil. I took a class about 2 years ago on the various things you can do/make with essential oils and its differen benefits. I found this one online, which is similar to the one I followed in the class i took. steps Pour 25 to 30 drops of essential oil in your bottle. Fill the bottle halfway with witch hazel. ... Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. ... Shake bottle to combine all the ingredients. Insert a sprig of dried flowers and herbs to finish off your fragrant spray. Thanks. You gave me great ideas so this morning I will do a clothes edit and redirect items from the closet to drawers. Where do you keep your jeans and leggings? I assume in a drawer. Your whole room looks nice but the iron and ironing board gotta go! Spoils the calmness of your room. Ironing boards should never be in a bedroom!!!!!!!!
