I wanted to buy one but get this message. „Oops, you or the counterparty have recently transferred something, and we're not up-to- date yet. Refresh your balances in the wallet sidebar and try again.“ After reloading the process broke apart.
I know that you are one of the guys which started this series, do you have a way to make a whitelist? if there is already a video about it, please share it :D. thx man
Jessie you are awesome for all the tools, tutorials, and videos you have created and shared! I was able to launch my NFT collection on Open Sea thanks to your outstanding tools with little coding knowledge. You are the best and thanks again!
Both RU-vid tutorials are great... I followed step by step and was pretty amazed where I got to, understanding I do not know anything about programming!!!... Thank you so much. Will keep working on getting better and upgrading my NFTs quality and quantity. P.S. Please don't stop mentoring us!!
Man, YOU ARE AWESOME. Just a quick note if anyone is having trouble with generating images. I got an error message saying the "build" folder already exists (mkdir couldn't work). I deleted the folder and after that the image generation worked like a charm. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
This is AMAZING! Not sure I'll create a collection myself, but this is a fascinating watch - especially how I'm a developer with about 15 years of experience.
Ben, I am am a System Tech with over 20 years of experience and man (5 years in art. UI, and design prior to that), it was still very hard to get my minted. I spent two days banging my head on the contract and mint issues and figured if I didn't get them on OpenSea, maybe I would quit my job and try to go into another profession! 😄
For those still having failure issues with the contract and minting commands it may actually be working but returning a failure message. I tried numerous methods to fix it when I was getting them but then realized in the NFTPort dashboard logs I was seeing 200 status OK return codes. So I decided to try a new run, generating images, uploading files and meta, etc. I ran deploy_contract again and got no response code (I wasn't before either). I then ran get_contract (after waiting about 10 minutes) and once again saw the deployment failed error. At this point I shut down VS Code and waited a half hour. Then I ran the mint command specifying only 5 images. Each mint attempt returned an error, but once again the NFTPort dashboard logs showed a 200 status OK return code. Lo and behold, on OpenSea my five images showed up . I then minted the next 45 images and they all acted the same, error code in VS Code but success in NFTPort. My OpenSea collection now has 50 images (or at least they are showing up there...). I don't know if waiting like I did after some commands was necessary, you can skip that if you want, but the reason I shut down VS Code before minting was I found if your terminal was running a batch command it might still be sending requests (also found this by looking in the NFTPort logs), even if you killed the command (ctrl C when in the terminal). Closing VS Code completely was the only way I could get the requests to stop. Long post, but just wanted people to realize the contract and mint commands might still be working even when the app says they aren't.
To all newbies like myself, after you change the layer folder names, hit SAVE. I feel like if I hadn’t overlooked this blatantly obvious step, I would have saved myself hours of going in circles trying to diagnose the errors.
Hey guys! The problem with the npm run deploy_contract is that if you using the free NFTport plan you can only generate 100 images. So if you are generating more than 100 images, you need to upgrade your NFTport to the $49 a month.
Hey Man! I watched both videos and this one is great and easy. Watching from Kenya and i have followed step by step since the first vid, its bn a great experience. Thanks. A quick ne though, i only see the minted ones on open see not the entire collection, anything I probably missed ?
Please we have a serious problem with error responses. After deploying the contract, it says successful. When we try to get contract it says failed. Meanwhile there's a and contract response folder. Even after waiting for hours, it keeps saying failed. If we proceed to minting, it gives error codes. Please help us
Hi Jesse, thanks for the video!! It's a lifesaver. But a killer for us Mac users is that vsCode doesn't recognize something in the double dash-related flags, so if you see in the comments, lots of us either can't mint specific versions or can't run a check_txns command to see which ones successfully minted and which ones didn't.
I followed all the steps in the video, but when i deploy the contract, the owner isn't me , it's a random wallet created by nftport, how can i get ownership of the smart contract??
Thanks to this great man ❣️❣️ For those getting catch error, go to your nftport contract and copy the address from there and paste it in the config.js contract address line. It should work
What a truly brilliant video!! Simplification is not easy, and you did an excellent job at it, such a great upgrade from your former video, making the whole process simple straightforward and in less than 30min! Most importantly, only using a single folder on VS Code and NFTPort, only! Great salutations and respect
When I go to upload the metadata with the free NFTport plan I get a bunch of errors. I strictly followed your directions. I am receving 422 and 429 errors. Any assistance would be awesome.
Thank you so much!!! I have cloned this repo from github and it works perfectly!!! I was so excited to generate my own collection! Im so thankful for you! If it's ok, I would like to ask a question - I would like to add an 'if statement' for picking a specific properties. For example: If background is red, pick only red shirt and red hat. Could you please assist me with this requirement? :)
Hey Jess, Love your content ☺️ Please do a video on Web3 and blockchain dev roadmap, How web3 correlates with existing web technologies and programming languages?, Anything more about the Blockchain would be very helpful Thank you.
Great video! ...When i run 'npm run generate' on the initial layers in the gihub code - it works perfectly for me. However, when i add in my own layers, and follow the same steps as in the video, and then 'npm run generate' keep on getting the following error; eerno -4058 And it does not generate my collection of images. Doesanybody else experience this or have any idea?
I had the same problem because his layers names were different than mine, but i changed the names of the "layersorder", saved the changes and it worked
Thank you for this awesome tutorial I have a question,i'll be grateful if you could kindly reply; For the generic metadata, when i run"npm run create_generic",i have "Missing script:creare_generic" error. I checked config.js too many times but i didn't realize what is wrong.
Hello great video everything went great until, trying to get the contract it says "deployment failed i tried to wait 1h and then tried to create another contract but still same issue any chance anyone know what's up?
Quick question, if I want my collection on the Ethereum blockchain instead of Polygon, do I simply change it in the code to say Ethereum instead of Polygon? const CHAIN = 'ethereum';
You are a lifesaver, THANK YOU!!! I'm planning on paying the $750+ plan to mint my entire 10k collection, my question is once i do that do the buyers still have to pay for minting or thats already set with the $40/month plan? I want to confirm before i commit to this.
Thanks for your last and this video; I pretty much understand how the system works for generating images. But here is my big question; What about voxel characters? It seems to be challenging and I am trying to figure out How?!
@@codeSTACKr i am not able to deploy the contract can you help i'm getting this error CATCH ERROR: NOK: Transaction not found with hash: 0xa77e6ff92562c02a717a956d74f4f28125f941028836e55dd54da8e3e5149892
Hi I have deployed a contract on polygon scan . now the problem is everytime I try to retrieve the contract information it says "contact deployment failed" but when I click on the build directory I find the contract.json there along with the deployContractResponce.json I also checked the status on polygon scan it says success I don't know what might be the problem .
@@codeSTACKr hey, thanks for the great content again. I've just wrote u an E-Mail a few days ago. I know you're very busy...but could you read and mabye answer it? I just can't find a answer to one of the "specific" questions from this mail. So your help would be very importent to me. The mail adress is "keeko"...and so on ;-) Thank you again. :)
This is great! I have one issue. After I mint and upload the Traits Never update to the correct percentage. I've waited a few hours, but still nothing. Everything says 'new trait'. Not sure if I missed a step?

When I ran this command: npm install I got this message: 6 packages are looking for funding run `npm fund` for details What did I do wrong? As I continue, I got this message: was compiled against a different Node.js version using NODE_MODULE_VERSION 102. This version of Node.js requires NODE_MODULE_VERSION 108. Please try re-compiling or re-installing the module (for instance, using `npm rebuild` or `npm install`).
Hi Jesse, Thank you so much for your video! I would like to upload on ethereum blockchain instead of Polygon. Is this possible with an easy adjustment to the config js file that comes with this video?
hello. love your videos. however i have a problem and a question for you. I have a project, with several types (more then 10 types) diferent folders created, each folder contain of course the "images" folder and the "metadata" folder. as you know each and every of 10 types, are numerotated from 0 to....whatever assets contain. My question is how to merged all of that folders the final result to be 0 to 1000 for example. of course, each metadata must be not only renamed like .png but modified inside numbers. i know it could be done with a pyton script, but i can't produce that script to work properly. maybe you can help me, please. thank you so much. the project is in my computer, local files and not online. its imposible for me to modify 20k nft and metadata by hand. :))
Hey! Great video so far! Im having trouble with one thing. When you switch out the example layers with the real layers, how did you drag and drop like that? Is there an easy way to export layers from photoshop to VSCode?
You just create a folder with your layers in a folder on your desktop (save out as pngs and put images in respective folders i.e. background, base, hair, etc) and then you open the mint-dapp 10k generative folder you downloaded on your desktop. Drag your folders in repo folder under layers, then update the order through the config file in VS
Hey dude, great content. I'm working on the Algorand blockchain and they use arc69 data for the Nft explorer data. I need to know how to get this from your modification of hash lips. It's info based on the open sea format. When I generate the NFTs currently, this JSON data doesn't translate to the Algo blockchain. Thoughts????
im confused what you mean by entering api key in the off variable. i am stuck trying to deploy my contract and when i try and get contract it just spams me with CATCH ERROR: NOK: Transaction not found with hash: ****. ive tried adjusting multiple things but cant seem to get it working. any suggestions?
even i have the same error i am not able to deploy the contract can you help i'm getting this error CATCH ERROR: NOK: Transaction not found with hash: 0xa77e6ff92562c02a717a956d74f4f28125f941028836e55dd54da8e3e5149892
Hi! I have a question. I had an artist make the entire collection for me. The artist has provided me the image files and json files with metadata. In that scenario how can I use the above code? I dont have separate layers its just the images.
Hello there, I have a collection with 5000NFTs, but I also have the 5000NFTs of this same collection but in pixelated mode, is it possible to use the pixelated mode as unrevealed and then when we want to reveal to show the HD NFT ? If yes, how can we do it ? Thank you
Hi Jesse, Thanks for updating! this works much easer then last time :) however once i run the "npm run get_contract" command i get an error (CATCH ERROR: NOK: Transaction not found with hash:) and keeps on repeating with no end.. i checked everything and can't seem to find an error.. do you have any suggestions?
I'm having the same issue, except I apparently tried too many contracts because now I get an error message that says "Contract limit exceeded on rinkeby" and I don't know how to get rid of the contracts I had errors with
@@DougTheDog6 solved it, I decided to wait half an hour between uploading contract and getting it then it worked, the only issue I have now is the minting command doesn’t work with specific ranges (-start10 -end10) it just wants to do all of them😖
Comparing the idea of Fungible and Non-Fungible with $ bills is not a good comparison. It all depends on who you want to exchange. If it is a collector then 1$ has a different value than another $bill which can be rare. The bill's condition, the year it was printed, etc are factors that can change the value. I will not exchange my new $bill with a bill that has a lot of folds or tears or writing on the paper.
Hey, thank you for this reallly informative video. Just one doubt : Suppose I launch a Collection of 10000 nfts on the ethereum blockchain and at that instant eth gas fees is around $5(hypothetically) so will I be required to pay 5×10000=$50000 just to mint my Collection on the opensea as gas fees or will I be just paying $5 as gas fees for one time just for setting up opensea account for the first time. Would be really thankful for your respnse. Thank you.
