Fascinating. Long ago, I used to underestimate the attention to detail in the aesthetics of a work environment, but I changed my mind as I had to adapt to the work from home modality after the pandemic. Having to take care of those kind of things made me understand that the inspiration and the general feeling that the workspace can transmit is almost always related to daily productivity. I started by changing my old desk for a Protractor desk that I got from Barcelona designs, I added some plants and even changed my keyboard. I still have to change a few more things, but little by little I'll transform my home office into the dream environment that I've always wanted. Thank you for sharing this.

I have ordered a second monitor to add to my Mac setup because I could really use with the extra estate while editing and sorting through vid and audio files ... So excited .. my setup is the most expensive thing I own but with no regrets 💯🔥

Fun embarassing fact: back in college while online, my exam was proctored and I was asked to show ID, verify some info. This woman asked for me to do a 360 view and my house, area I was taking the exam at, space was super messy and she saw it all 😂 so yes a clean safe, comfortable space is needed.

I was able to program the gesture button on my MX Master to match all of the Apple Trackpad gestures that I use frequently and ditched the trackpad completely!

Great video. How do you have the tops of your monitors so high. I recently purchased a 32" monitor and I am struggling to find a setup that works for me since the top of the monitor is so high and my neck is bent upward. Any advise.

If you'd read the manual of HS's studio monitors - they're not made to lay down horizontal on your desk, I'd rather avoid this mistake to not mess up the speakers, placed mine on Kanto stands.

although it looks cool, Im pretty sure these Yamaha speakers aren't mean to be in a horizontal position (I have the same pair), it causes comb filtering.

You mentioned ergonomics regarding the chair and mouse, but not regarding the monitors. This video (and all others like it) have monitors on a riser. This is contrary to all data that says the top of the monitor should be at eye level. Why are these risers so popular (aside from freeing up space) when it’s detrimental to one’s health and could another factor to your sciatic problems?
