I like the separate camera person angles and the microphone you use! I can see everything you're doing, and hear everything your'e saying! Thanks for filming an sharing!
Thanks for making this video! I changed my battery last week in a 435i. You're not kidding about the strain on my back lol you popped that heavy-ass battery out with ease.
dude nice vid straight to the point, what were some other symptoms of the battery going bad? long crank times? gauges going crazy? electronics in the cabin shutting off and then coming back on?
Thank you! Main thing is the blower motor not working. Along with that, the battery just dies fast with accessories on. A few people also have weird dash light issues and sometimes the car doesn’t want to crank at all because of the voltage shutdown, so people think it’s the starter when it really is just the battery
I would get AGM Battery, that Everrstart only lasted my 335i 3 yrs. The original AGM lasted 10. Installed one today it also helps to maintain it with a Battery Tender.
I dont know the certifide mechanic truth,Ii heard the certain car manufactures prefer specific brand of batteries or else you get weird fault codes come up with out warning. At this piont i just buy the exact manufacter replacement just to not deal with unexpected headaches. This for me goes for Jaguar, BMW , Mercedes and GM Corvette's.
Hey if you can help me with this I would have really appreciate it I'm using beamer code and it shows that I have 41% on my battery do I need to re-register a new battery
Hello i have a 08 bmw 528i with a bosch amg battery. my question is if you have an amg battery an you replace with an Walmart H7 or H8 amg battery is the coding necessary? Also is coding and registering considered the same thing?
Anytime! And as long as your battery was a white one, nope! It’s always good to code it if you have the software, but not the end of the world if you don’t!
I followed this step by step bought the exact same battery as my original one in vehicle and as I’m all done I go and start my car and it’s now saying restraint system malfunction. Is this something you have seen? What should I do?
@@TroyNoChill yes it was some weird piece that the battery didn’t have and it also needed to be coded to my car right after so just get it done by a shop if you don’t know how to code
@@Keigan-Davies I just got the car a week ago and swapped my e30 battery and drove the car. I haven’t coded It yet but heard It wasn’t detrimental to drive but definitely should get It coded ASAP so the car won’t misuse the new battery
See that is all you need, Walmart , if you can find them . Some people seem to need a BMW battery with the little sticker. BMW batteries are made by all different battery companies. Exide , banner, etc, there is no such thing as a “BMW” battery. The biggest issue is that Walmart never has them in stock.
Yes you can definitely go AGM, but if you do you 100% have to code it in, especially if you’re replacing a Lead-Acid (white) battery! AGM has some nice benefits
My battery was completely dead key stuck windows wouldn’t move so I just replaced the battery everything lit up but it won’t start ? I hear the starter trying to work did I do something wrong
First thing you have to do is register your battery so the ibs recognizes it n that you changed it or you can disconnect the blue ibs connection it should start if no starter issues
kinda, disconnecting minee and reconnecting a new caused a overvoltage and blew one of my confort module....common issue, yes it is advise to connect a 3rd party battery voltage while doing this
Brother I’m telling you from experience not coding your battery will cause it you fail catastrophically, no chance of regeneration and at extreme kiss your alternator bye bye
