I love how grateful you are for your experiences and that you don't take anything for granted. It's lovely to watch. My Dad lived in Dubai, for 10 years, so I was lucky enough to visit often. You should do Oman. I didn't realize that it was custom to continue feeding people & refreshing their beverages, until they told you that you were full. So, 10 plates & 6 Coke's later, I was done! I thought it was rude to refuse & they thought it was rude to stop feeding me.....epic meal!
The food in the Emirates is all Indian, Pakistani or Western and its prices are very expensive compared to other Gulf countries, and it is also more expensive than some European countries. Also, walking in the streets of Dubai is very difficult because of the heat and very high humidity most months of the year. I prefer Egypt or some East Asian countries because they are cheap and have beautiful scenery that you can enjoy.
