Yes! This makes so much sense. I definitely think there is a difference between having empathy/compassion vs. being emotionally intuitive/absorptive. This is very helpful. I've also heard this being a result of trauma, but that is probably not an "always" or "only cause." I feel more assured being able to acknowledge myself an empath on this neutral basis.

I love prehnite and peridot. I asked once which crystals would help me deal with absorbing and mirroring the energy of others, and I dreamt about these two. Funny that you mentioned them in this video. 😊

I recently experimented with aegirine. At first it mostly made me feel more confident. The next session though, I think it put me in touch with my soul. I felt innocent in a way I hadn't felt since childhood and it became even more obvious that our true nature is not heavy and negative. I think it removed negative thought forms I acquired from my parents as a child. It was a weird experience, but that happens a lot with crystals. It's currently on my list of favorites. Needless to say, I have bought an aegirine pendant, I want to keep it around my auric field. I'm also very fond of black spinel. It makes my energy feel cleaner. I put almost all my crystals in a box containing pink Himalayan salt when I want to cleanse their energy, but I don't actually have any in a format I can carry around with me.
