May I suggest something for your next guide? - I think you haven't mentioned daily mission yet. I still don't know how many can I hold, perhaps 6? - There's 10k cap on gems - The battle pass is a no brainer - You can craft (I think there are 10) multi-secret packs SR cards to pull a bunch free packs - Solo mode also give you 200 gems by completing with your own deck. I believe there's 10+ story so it's an easy 2k gems! - And don't forget participating on event like the festivals and duelist cup because it's HUUUUGE but I'm surprised you don't mention it.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you. Well, Called By counters Ash Blossom and Ghost Belle counters Called By. Any generic negate obviously covers both.
Hey man! Really awesome and helpful video, thanks! I have a quick question, so hopefully you see this. When should I craft those cards from the Free Pack section? Should I wait until I spent my initial gems on secret packs for the deck I want to build, so I have more dust to craft? Or should I do it before I buy secret packs for my planned deck?
5:00 I would just like to say that I have to make a new account but my old account marincess got me to diamond at least one time, some people don't read the cards and it begins to be a lot of fun
@LiZzZzZArDDDD But thats just an SR? You can craft an SR to get a free pack from every single secret pack. You want to craft them to have a chance to pull a UR you need.
hey uh soo i just started playing and didn't really think the starter deck was like really important and seeing this video i realised i chose the wrong starter deck any way to fix this?
If you're still struggling with the basics of the game I recommend something fairly simple so you can get a grasp of the game mechanics. Numeron would be my recommendation!
@@bazzy187qalpi2 Cool! When it comes to deck with staying power I'd say either Dragon Link or Swordsoul are your best options. Both decks have been up and down the tierlist the past year but are usually relevant in any given meta. Swordsoul is the simpler of the decks in terms of Combo so maybe start there?
I really dont know much about yugioh and am really new to the game. what kind of deck would you suggest that's really easy? I still don't even understand the concept of link and pendulum after finishing the tutorial. I guess, link or pendulum is just so complicated for me ahahaaha. I chose blue eyes deck since I thought It looked cool. Am I screwed?
Starter decks don't matter much as you'll unlock all 3 eventually. I wouldn't worry about it. For decks that are easy, Swordsoul has a structure deck that is available for free for a limited time. I have a short on my channel covering how to unlock it. Its a pretty straightforward deck that you can upgrade as you learn, into a pretty competent deck that reaches the top ranks every month. I have a video on my channel thats ~5 min long that goes over the basics. Hope that helps. Good luck!
i Just started today a new brand account with this guide even tho its about 1 month old its super helpful and alot of information just wanted to say thanks!!! Also i finish Solo the first 5 -6 story modes i got maybe about 10k Gems. how did u say u get the other 10ishk ? thanks! Cause the Starter decks arent that good for Dueling for rank.
Happy to help! Gates in solo mode, rewards for leveling up, and rewards for unlocking secret packs should give you ~10k more if you do everything. The 10k you already have should be enough to get a decent start on a deck that you can use through solo mode.
So basically if u finish everything in Solo Mode the stories. Okay!!! Although i choose the Dragon starter deck some missions iam getting beat by the AI lol embarassing. Did i choose the wrong deck or a bad one? or do you think the deck should get me through the whole solo mode gates stories? thanks for your advices and wisdom!
10k is what you usually end up with and its a good starting point. The 20k was just to show that theres a lot more gems to get if you run out. Hope the video helped!
@@MasterDuelMax yes it helped tremendously! I made a new account and use the issued synchro deck, what changes would you make to it to improve for solo?
@@smolbodybuilder1602 Add Unexpected Dai 3x , the tuner level 3 and the normal level 3 from the starter deck 3x. They give you easy level 6 synchros and you should have a couple. Memory of an Adversary, Call of the Haunted, and the tribute card with a goblin on it (I forget the name) are all good traps. Add any good cards you get from solo mode as you play. Its not *that* important since you want to use loaner decks most of the way through solo mode anyway, to maximize solo mode spheres. Except for the duels that give gems of course.
With like 10-20k cards in the game I get that. Depends on what you enjoy of course. If you want to play the latest and greatest, a nostalgic deck if you used to play, quick and simple decks, complex combo decks, and so on. My advice would be to start with one of the structure decks and see what other people are playing in ranked to get a feel for the game and the meta.
The solo mode gives you good insight on lore and highlighting decks that you'll almost never see in the ranked ladder. Just fun decks to experiment with
As i grind through solo mode with the syncho starter to build up gems. Could i get some advice/suggestions for decks for someone's who essentially a noob🤣 I've played yugioh games before but it was more of brute force rather than with combos. Just nothing Link heavy please EDIT: also the changes you made to the starter synchro deck, were they just random changes bc i dont see how to get most of the synchros out with those monsters🤣
@@MasterDuelMaxI chose the blue eyes deck before seeing this guide as well. Do you have a basic upgrades recommendation for that deck? Or should I just use it in solo mode as is?
I'm confused, I bought the thing with ash blossom and opened a bunch of the cards that give keys but I don't have a free pack from there, all it seemingly did was unlock the ability to buy a pack focused on that strategy EDIT: Ok so I guess it did both? its really confusing but that seems to be the case
@@MasterDuelMax Ok, as a side note do you recommend getting more than 1 of a structure deck since you CAN buy them more than once? it seems like less than a good idea
@Pubmaster32 If you're going for a structure deck, unless you're buying it for a specific single card, always buy 3. Usually they give you 1x of most the important cards so 3x gives you a playset
a quick question, since im new to master duel and has been obtaining gems trough missions tab, how can i receive that many gifts from Gift Box tab? i never had one.
I dont get how u got 20000? I played rank till silver 3, completed solo mode until absolute monarch and got around 12k-14k max. Do i have to play the entire solo mode to reach 20k????
I feel like i am required to play the meta in order to find any success in grinding, I built a couple decks i thought would be better but clearly i am out of touch of what makes a good deck in MD. Is there a solo way of consistently grinding like in say Duel Links? Or is the solo mode a one time only value? My current predicament is i have some iconic card related decks like Obelisk and Exodia but the decks i built are simply too slow and unreliable to play on ranked. But I spent alot of CP and Gems to get to where im at so my account is sorta in a stalemate where i lose most of the time but I need to win in order to go places but i simply lack the resources to get the cards I need
Lets go through your questions 1 by 1. Do I need to play the meta? No, but decks like Exodia and Egyptian Gods are nostalgia decks, not competetive modern decks. They've gotten support and they do have okeyish gameplans but compared to the "top dogs" of the meta ur gonna have a bad time. www.masterduelmeta.com has tons of resources to find up to date decks and tier lists. My channel has a lot of decks too but I havent had the time to make videos recently so its fallen a bit behind. Solo mode is a one time value. What now? If you've spent all your gems and cp on an unreliable strategy you have 2 options; 1. Grind gems, doing dailies and slowly build up another deck. You can also buy gems. What I prefer is to make a new account. As I show in the video you get around 20k gems if you do solo mode and craft all the packs, if you start with a decklist from online you should be able to make at least 1 if not 2 decks easily.
@@MasterDuelMax That is rough that solo is one time only value; very helpful comment though thanks for getting back to me and i apologize if it came off bitter Was just frustrated that i needed to know what the stronger builds were prior to actually playing rather than having the freedom to earn all the cards and experiment on my own
1. After crafting all the multiple packs SR, to get the essential URs do we just open the free packs or do we have to buy the packs until we get them? 2. Say for example i crafted Darklord Morningstar to get the 2 free packs, if i craft forbidden lance do i still get the pack or not? Thanks for the great video btw.
