The Ultimate Fan Project (V3.1) uses a Sonoff Basic and a few extra components to take a basic 'dumb' 3 Speed desk fan and make a Wi-Fi enabled 'smart' Fan.
This Step-by-Step tutorial will take you through everything you need make your own 'Smart Fan' - Which can also be used for most ceiling fans too!
Programmed in ESPHome it can be added to Home Assistant AND controlled by Automation and Alexa Voice, as well as keeping the original fan buttons functional... Oh yeah, I also add some speed indicator LEDs!!!
