@@LadyIno the books have been hit or miss...this whole latest book has shifted from incredibly interesting to kind of boring, and it's suddenly super interesting again
@@annabelfazukimi7902 Yes most books fall off in the middle quite a bit. But the plot twists around the latter 3rd of the story always make up for that in my opinion.
Ok but book 6 cutscenes was so goated especially the midpoint movie it was so emotional and sad the music was so good the violin went absolutely ham at showing that omg! Like even the scenery they're was so mysterious and very cool also embla and askr appearance reveal was really nice! And the ending was so wholesome and sweet my favorite book fr! Shar Vero fans really won with this one!🥰💖 That's why Veronica is my favorite oc her development from book 1 to 6 was so good especially in book 6 also bruno is another so is sharena and freyja! Second are embla letizia askr and fafnir lol. Thanks for letting us relive this nostalgia Joel it really took back to days of book 1 till 3. :)
Very cultured opinion, Book 6's midpoint was the first one I ever watched the night it dropped, and I was so excited and impressed by it all at once. It goes super hard and is super cool!
The ending for Book 6 really strikes me the best, after everything that happened between Askr and Embla.. and that one moment where they hold hands.. with the music too.. it just screams perfection.

What a nostalgia trip it is to watch all of these in a row. They really picked up in quality as the new books come and go. Any plans to have the other animations bundled together like those mini theater ones? Those are always fun to rewatch as well. Still loving how Eitri's monologue breaks the flow of it all in her own way, and Book V was a fun year aside from Fedelgard throwing everything into chaos for a while. The theme, music, art, and characters just seemed to click so well, and the joke video of Fafnir and Reginn dancing will never get old to me. I still use the headset accessory on my summoner they gave out for it.

Seeing Leif next Gullveig makes me think of Kakashi trying to talk down Obito "There's no reason to feel guilty Alphonse, I don't feel pain anymore, while you've been suffering alone all this time" XD
What I kinda like about FEH stories is the subtle disturbing, horrible details in each book, like the "Monica" moment in FE8. These stand out for me: - Book 4: Peony and Sharena switching places so much in their childhood they're basically interchangeable. This gives me existential crisis. - Book 5: two moments actually. One when Eitri drops the bomb on Alphonse and summoner's identity. The other is the fact that Fafnir is isekai'd against his will by Eitri to become the king and gives him amnesia. - Book 7: whibbly whobbly timey wimey, time is a social construct and all that. I do like the out-of-order Chapters.
maaaaan i dont know why but seeing that book 2 cinematic gives me so much nostalgia, i dont know if my fellow day one players feel the same way but man... seeing that cinematic for the first time hyped me up soooo much, i remember after the cinematic, when they showed off fjorm, a LEGENDARY HERO, and her battle animation she does that little flip when attacking, that was the coolest thing ever. Book 2 is always gonna be my favorit and has a special place in my heart, it reminds me of a simpler time ingame and in my personal life thats now all in the past, thats why i also dont mind that Fjorm usually gets a lot of love, shes deffinetly up there in my fav OC list.

Yeah I agree or atleast bring better writers but sadly I feel it's not gonna happen cause they know lot of feh fanbase doesn't care that much for the story :(
Watching this just makes me wish they'd give us mythic/legendary Alfonse and Sharena already. Or at least give the originals a new refine. Or make them available in the grail shop
Seeing how strong Alfonse, Sharena and Fjorm are in these cutscenes, it makes you realize just how strong most of the FE lords are since half of them seem to be stronger, and Ike being stated to be strongest in all the realms (and the strongest emblem in Engage, and the strongest in Awakening). I do wish IS and Nintnedo game the actual games this level of animation and fighting cutscenes though, but I know they usually have to complete the games within a certain timeframe.
I loved seeing Anima change the overall style as time went on. Going from ultra smooth with drawn faces to rendering on twos with drawn faces, to twos completely with 3D faces, to a mix of ultra-smooth and twos with differing light, and then the production style we have to this day.
...So I'm not the only one waiting for Líf to return, right? Like, it's we know Thorr and Loki brought him and Thrasir back, and have taken up Hel's contract with them. And they've gone looking around for allies. There's no way Líf isn't coming back as a goddamn menace.
@@FEH Nah, don't rush it. Either he needs to be the final boss, or he needs to be our ally against Thorr and Loki, and they're the final bosses. The closing of their story should close our own as well. And I can wait for that.
I come back every once in a wgile to rewatch Lif because truly the only Feh OC who still suffers, and as morbid as it is to think, Eitr in the end did win. Sure we defeat her, but she still got her wish, the Heir of her King back to the Throne
Ok but those Lif videos and music were on point. Wish Lif and Thrasir could get their own game or movie or smthing like that. Or a spin off game, Id play the shit out of it.
Book 3 and book 6 are my absolute favorite ones. Book 7 not so much the story was kinda meh. I hope that the next book we get is better. Edit: the music for all the books tho the music for all the books are a freaking bop
I thought that we still haven't been to FEH Asgard yet, though we've seen Thórr and Loki (and traditionally Helheim is counted as part of Niflheim instead of being an independent realm, though this obviously isn't the case in FEH), and that the place we visited with Askr in Book 6 was the roots of Yggdrasil? So I don't think we've been to all Nine Realms unless I'm mistaken? Also, who knows but we might see an Aesir-Vanir war as another possibility, but my money's on Oðinn appearing as the book's antagonistic male figure either in Book 8 or 9. EDIT: new guess for Ragnarök is that Líf and Thrasir attempt to kill and dethrone the gods, like Rearmed Líf says he's going to do in his dialogue

WAIT IT'S TRUE!!! We never heard from her ever again, so... who knowd what will happen. Maybe this'll have something to do with the next book? Probably not, but It's fun to imagine 😅
there are so many loose ends. it's just so underdeveloped. i think the total text in this year's story is shorter than the weapon description for Duo Ephraim.
@@FEHI really wouldn't be surprised. But if it had consistent thematic execution and put a lot more work into the story itself I think the foundation could work quite well.
