Hey bro, great video. Im looking at buying a Viking but don’t know if I want to get a pedal kayak, what are your thoughts on them?

Hey bro, I'd say it largely depends on where you'll be fishing. For example pedal kayaks are a no go launching through surf etc. Ive not used one myself but think they would be pretty good. I think they can be quite a bit heavier too - something to think about

Hi, where did you get that screw lid tub that fits perfectly under the bungee on the tackle pod? Cheers

@@Alexxx---101 Hi Alex. That is a Gulp Softbait tub that is sold here in New Zealand. You may be able to find it on amazon, ebay etc

@@Straightshooterx71x hey man, I don't believe they fit in the older 400 models, but they should fit in the new 400 models which have a larger front hatch. Watch my video on my Viking reload setup to see how to make it fit on an old 400

@@fishinbite yeah absolutely, i rate the 400. The new 400 that viking has brought out has moulded handles, larger front storage hatch etc like the reload, but retains it's size, weight and maneuverability which ticks all the boxes

Is ruddler mandatory for this kayak? What makes it so much better? I had about 2 sessions now and it is bloody hard to paddle especially when windy. considering to install it

I think rudders make a huge difference especially fishing in windy conditions, I would highly recommend it.
