Guy guys....these videos drive me into excited delirium :-) :-) :-) I want to fpv headtrack my Bearcat but the more research I do the more confused I get how to start. Anyways great job! The mini gls unit is insaaaaaane!!!!
I saw some other videos that has focusing problems, none of them can read the panel as clear as yours, can u tell me which cam u are using ? Thank you very much
I am using a V1 dji Airunit. in order to get it to focus you will have to unscrew the black lens part slightly. I used a blow dryer to soften the sealer and then unscrewed it to the point where it began to focus there is a way you can add a mini servo to twist it for you while in flight so that you get the best of both worlds but mine makes it so that I get average focus outside of the cockpit and average focus inside. Hope this helps!
That looks wicked cool, how do you collect air and altitude data, is it linked to GPS? What data is displayed next to the GPS and HOME callouts? You should do a full listing of all your gear in the description, geeks like me love that. Can't wait to see it fly, good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion! The air data display was purchased from rcguages.com it does use a micro gps module similar to the ones you'd see on quadcopters with OSDs on the left is the airspeed indicator on the right is the altimeter and at the bottom are the satellite and distance from home indicators left to right. After making this video I realized the GPS was not locking satellites which is why the speed indicated Zero. I will be flying it soon I just need to sort out those bugs first.
Are you on RCGROUPS or HobbySquawk? I’d like to communicate with you more on the spoiler setup. I’ve got both cut/shaped and one hinged and read. Just having issues with the horn setup.
I am on there but its been a while since I've logged in. If you go to the freewing F14 thread my pics are the on the last page of the images portion of the page.
