I'm amazed at the dog's ability to read the disc. I play with some newbies that still need to work on running to where the disc is going to land not just underneath it.

Cool video, as a Disc Dogger I was waiting for you to look into that next! Disappointed that you didnt use a dog safe disc though, those Ultimate discs are to big and heavy for dogs, they actually make dog safe discs that are designed for that. Would love to see what you can do with a dog safe disc and my little red BC! If you are near Columbus let me know. Several good dogs and Disc Doggers in the area!

Use ultimate discs for trick shots and Ultimate. Use dog discs for dogs. You wouldn't play ultimate with a disc golf driver. Use a DOG DISC for a dog.

I use "dog disks" and they won't last more than 30 minutes with my German Shepherd. On top of that, she has broken teeth.

Where is this dog now? Where was this filmed? One day about 7 years ago, a German Shepard showed up on my doorstep and never left. She was always a natural Frisbee dog and looks EXACTLY like the dog in the video. Tongue spot and all.

Being someone who is on the public eye and a huge influence, please consider using a dog safe disc next time. The high risk of injuring the dog isn't worth any amount of "likes" (I'm sure being an animal lover you would agree.) Great job and please keep encouraging folks to play safe and have FUN.

What is a "dog safe disc" what is different I don't have a dog yet so don't worry but I will get one in the soon future it will be a rat terrier P.s. Any tips

+Caleb Franklin Great question. Google Hero Discs or Hyperflight. There are others however these are my favorites. The problem with the disc he is using is if the dog bites too hard it will break and potentially injure the dog. A dog safe disc should puncture if bitten too hard. Have fun!

So... I remember in my old neighborhood, my dad and I was throwing the good ol' frisbee with my dad. I threw the frisbee and the wind carried it, and a cop neighbor John's police dog named Zeus caught it. Zeus brought it back to me, and there were no teeth marks. Good thing he was gentle with it, because I've had that frisbee since I was 3 years old.

Just found you on RU-vid. We, Buddy and I are Frisbee FANATICS. Haven't put one down since we picked one up. Can throw almost as well left handed as right. But Buddy is a sucker star! Acrobatic as he'll. Just subscribed and posted my first Buddy video and it got 2,500 views in a couple hours and zero. However another one just exploded. I'm 65 and play Frisbee a couple times a day for 3 years. Buddy is. If wanna check it out it's Frisbee Dog Buddy. Challenge anyone to a Frisbee dodge game. You game. Pretty fing 😎

Lol good Frisbee but definitely not suitable for large dog? You guys have suggestion the best durable Frisbee for german shepherd? I have kong extreme flyer and it sucks, only last for few hours playing, and too floppy.
