Ich habe mehrere Monate in einer Filiale dieser Bäckerei gearbeitet und musste daran denken wie sich die Person gefühlt hat , die das alles einzeln einpacken musste 😂

To be honest, as a German, I'd say these are not the best pastries you can get here. We have much better things like Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte.

I love how some bakeries open up really late in Germany so you can have some delicious baked goodness after a few beers or when bakers bring round freshly baked pretzels into the bars at night.

That crumble cake you ate is actually called "kruimel vlaai" in Dutch. It is usually filled with like a vanilla pudding and Its originated from the province Limburg in the Netherlands. (Where I live 😄). Great video as always!

The white stuff on the last apple pie is actually "Hagelzucker", or coarse sugar. It's very dense, so the sweetness does not come forward as fast since it takes longer to dissolve.

The white stuff onnthe applepie there is Hagelzucker (a sugar with bigger sugarcorns, & it calls in german "Hagelzucker cos its looks exactly same like the weather typ "Hagel" when its rains the characterristic icecorns )^^ !

when I am not in germany for a long time period, I miss the most the full wheat bread...when it comes to pastries I always order Apfelrolle/Apfeltasche. When it comes to cakes, Schwarzwälderkirschtorte is my favourite

Great video. I LOVE the Berliner. The last one you ate is also a speciality in a part of the Netherlands as well. It's a speciality from the province North Limburg. They make it with all kinds of fruits yumyumyum

Geeze, you must have been really hungry 😂 Can‘t believe you ate up all of that 🙈Very impressive 😅👍 The white stuff on top of the last cake is called „Hagelzucker“, hail sugar. It’s like big crumps of sugar but less sweet than ordinary sugar. It’s very common on sweet German bread and cake

We are in Germany right now and my favorite thing about it is definitely the baked goods: breads, pastries, cookies. They are wayyy better than most of the stuff back in the States!

just a short info: technically this isnt allowed to call itself a bakery since they dont make stuff by hand and fresh (still nice goods though). these places inside of supermarkets in germany are called „backshop“ like „bakeshop“ cause like i said they arent allowed to call it bakery like the real original bakeries you find on the street.
