I found a lazy method of choosing Mad Groove and grabbing Attractorb to start. Max the orb and you can just sit still the whole time. The only thing you really need to find is a Clock Lancet and have it evolved before 15 minutes. I usually will sit mostly still and grab the Metaglio, Rings and a few other things right before the 10 minute mark because at 10 minute you will gain a lot of levels that you will want to apply to the rings. The main focus should be to have an Infinite Corridor before 15 minutes. The other powerups mentioned in this video are good to go for too like Gatti Amari and evolved Santa Water. By sitting still, the cat clouds and La Borra will spawn right on top of you. This isn't the most optimized method of course, but it requires very little skill and you can easily watch another show or something on the side.
I still farm on Moongolow with my Pugnala since they were added, mind you I play 1 or 2 runs a day so I have only over 600 eggs by now. This is my routine: * Cap weapons at 4 and disable Hurry and Limit Break. * First Arcana is obviously Disco of Gold. * At the beginning take 4 items on bottom right, Mask and Attractorb * Try to find these items ASAP: Torona, Laurel, Lancet, Amari. The order of weapons is not important at all but when you get Gatti Amari early, make sure to now max it out too fast. * When Torona is found, take Skull. * Start going for Ring and Metaglio with Curse (i.e go down then right). * Try to level up Attractorb when you can, it will speed up your XP gain a lot. As well as 2 of your main weapons for evolution. Also try not to get Curse from Torona before the evolution, there is high possibility for dying. * When you got both of these items go straight for other Ring and Metaglio. * When you have taken these 4 items, you should be near 10 minutes mark so make sure both of your guns are maxed out. * Focus on the boss and take the chest ASAP. * As you evolved your guns, you got one free slot for a weapon, you have to find the weapon you didn't find previously. * If you need to, hold Gatti Amari on level 7 or below untill you max out everything else. * When you get second Arcana, take the new one with cooldown reduction. I take it only because it triggers Infinite Corridor faster which will kill reaper faster. * By this time you should be set, you can stand still wait for evolutions and get gold. * When you kill reaper and take all the eggs, just quit, there is no need for waiting. For the 15 minutes spend in Moongolow I get 12 eggs naturally and money worth for next 24 so in total I get around 36 eggs. I did some testing on Bone Zone and Diary Plant and for 30 minutes spent there, I get arround 40 eggs per run, keep in mind it takes 2 times more time to finish the run so I get 20 eggs per 15 minutes there, so these are literally almost 2 times worse for egg farming, at least for now, during Gold Fever killing enemies give me 2 gold, maybe when I increase it to 3, then there might be bigger difference but I need more eggs for now.
hey, can you tell me some more tips to play with your method? I don't find it possible to max out everything before even the reaper appears. I don't think my exp is enough (I powered up everything though) and I only get around 50-70k per game so I wonder how you can get 240K.
@Peter I started doing it when I had I think 80 Eggs so you'll need to farm them before doing it by my method. My strat also changed over time with game changes and having more eggs. When I begun doing it I hadn't enough speed nor exp gains to upgrade all of these weapons at once and speed to get all arrows and rings. My beginning strat was before weapon limits but I tried to have Phieraggi, Laurel and Corridor, to achieve this I also picked Mad Grove as second arcana just to get remaining arrows and rings (which I went for in reverse of I do now, curse was not that welcome at the beginning). As for Torrona, I didn't pick it either as it didn't give much power and 100% was a death sentence. I added Gatti Amari at around 550 eggs. And as I said, this strat is ever evolving and the more eggs you have, the more different it becomes. Basically eggs give you the power to just do things you couldn't before so you can do more risky stuff that are more rewarding. But you just need to farm them. Now I am at 801 eggs and not much changed besides that I found enabling Limit Break is actually more beneficial. And also I still get 2 gold per kill during Gold Fever, literally I am getting almost no greed from the eggs...

My personal strategy for Moongolow on Pugnala: * Start with Disco of Gold, take Awake at 11 minutes * Duplicator, Tiragisu, Empty Tome, Wings, Spinach, Crown * Buy Bone and Cherry Bomb * Take Laurel and Clock Lancet - can no longer accidentally evolve the wrong weapon by bad level ups/chests * Final weapon is Runetracer - banish other common weapons on bad level ups This gets me 12 eggs and 70~85k gold depending on luck with money bags
@@sgtsmithy100 Awake is for the big buff that revives give to Phieraggi. It's not a big deal (or completely useless) once you have a lot more eggs, but if you're starting out, it's a big chunk of might and a bunch of extra beams. You don't want to die at all Since I posted this comment though, the strategy has changed because we can reduce the weapon cap, limit break exists now, and there's more arcana to choose from
I am still not sure about which strat I prefer the most for myself. From an efficency point of view it is probably 4 egg-hunt. But chillaxing while farmin is kinda important I guesss and in a 30 min bone zone with my ~2.5k egg pugnala I do about ~1.1million gold per round. For me I never endured more than 10-15x egg hunts in a row :D
My moongolow strat with pugnala is just getting disco of gold first, picking up wing, mask, crown, and all 4 bottom right weapons before getting santa water, gatti, lancet and bone (and runetracer after phieraggi). Then i just farm xp until around 5 min before going for the top ring and going reverse-clockwise, picking up the curse ones last so the guardians don't get more hp, then at the time i get all 4 of them i already maxed out santa water and have the 10 min chest for la borra, which very easily kills the 4 guardians. After that just max out everything else, with gatti being the last thing to max out (not to evolve), and getting awake for the extra phieraggi beams, and after that both phieraggi, la borra and lancet make it very hard to get hit by the reapers so no need to get laurel. I end up with 12 eggs and around 80k gold per 15 min run, it's pretty neat
Hey, little side note, Retaliation doesn't only scale with armor, but with curse too. You can look at the wiki, and it says it right there, and to proof my point, I can send screenshots of crimson shroud having millions of dps, which would not be possible with only 50 damage per hit.

I talked about his comment in the video and his reply was this: To clarify, "retaliation" in general does not get stronger with Curse. The Crimson Shroud has a unique retaliation proc which actually factors in the damage you would take and that has an additional curse multiplier in it. The way things chain together the damage value received for this calculation should already contain the enemy damage increase from Curse so I am not entirely sure why this is done. The incoming damage also gets capped to 100 (and then multiplied with 0.1 so technically consistent with Shroud's damage cap even though the number should be passed on before said cap is applied if I understand things correctly) so no "stop hitting yourself" reaper kill sadly enough. So all in all I know Curse is supposed to affect it or does affect it, but it wasn't clear to which degree or if it scales 1:1 with Curse, is capped or what not.
To cut down on the stress of getting everything, I take Mad Groove for my second card. I start with Disco of Gold in Moongolow because it’s fairly easy to get 100k each time with just a few eggs. (It seems more reliable at about +10 curse from eggs, at +20 I could usually just keep goldrush from dropping until the end) and then I go south to the gold ring (curse) and counterclockwise to the right half (curse). After that evolve my two weapons. I usually do Santa water and Mannajja. Mannajja is just because song of mana is better at keeping goldrush going pre-evolved/before the 10 min mark. Then I take Mad groove. I don’t have to walk to the last two. It lets me pause, kill stuff, gain the levels, and keep gold rush up easier not needing to rush around to all four. It does require a few eggs and three saved rerolls to guarantee the second card. But it makes it roughly 22 eggs for 16 minutes and it should work for just about any character as you are working to build them up to a better farming tactic. Dommario might struggle due to movespeed. The Ghosts due to health. And Leda due to movespeed and greed. But at least with Leda, he probably has other avenues that exploit his tankiness and strength.
i used to do moonglow but now im doing bonezone, 300k gold = 30 eggs plus 9 eggs from the guardians and reaper kill (i have 600 eggs so some might get less god)
@@thenextgeneration9030 so, I know everyone swtiches to there (or most do). But when I could do 300k for the 30 min run, I could do 160 or 170k in the 15 min run on Moongolow, plus 12 from guardians and reaper. I test it every so often and I always seem to make slightly more than half in Moongolow than I can in Bone Zone. Plus more eggs. I do do both, mostly to switch it up, but eggs per time, if you gold farm in Moongolow I do think it’s more efficient since as the amount of gold you can farm in Bone Zone goes up, so does Moongolow.
To make this a lot less like a chore just pick gold shower at the start, pick your passives in order and then zoom around a bit and then pick the tree arcana at 11 minutes to make all the rings come to you, the guardians die before the reaper anyway, i make around 70k gold + the eggs and it's a lot less stressful
Zi-Assunta would be number one character IMO due to her unique passive scaling, otherwise her starting weapon may not be the best compared to Red's, MissingNo and Pugnala's starting weapon. These are my 4 top character pics too, but with enough eggs, none of that matters.
It's not unique though. Smith has that but better (she got 0.5 on 4 stats, he got 0.7 on the same but also -0.25 CDR, 1% Luck and 0.01 Regen, as well as Vandelier). But scaling means nothing if you cap out
@@DexTag True, the one hit death (without eggs) can be annoying if not built properly, but again, with enough eggs, none of that matters. BTW I was unaware Smith also had a Luck and Regen bonus until you just pointed out; I only use him if I want a build with Vandelier which doesn't happen often in my case. He certainly is the best of the 3 brothers, will induct him on my top 5 best.
@TheAuthorIsNotDead Its hard to die with him since Phieraggi covers you, the enemies just bounce around for a significant amount of time and you got all the passive weapons you need to survive on the stage. A few runs and you are good to not die anymore
@TheAuthorIsNotDead Do you care about damage or do you care about kill amount? If I got a weapon that can hit 7 enemies per beam every attack with low attack, my odds are insanely high I will kill them quickly. Now take a second weapon that deals 10M damage every 10 second to 1 enemy, you will have insane damage on the weapon (180M) but you will only have 180 kills. I don't understand how this topic keeps coming up. Phieraggi covers everything, on your screen AND off screen where enemies spawn. The faster you kill enemies the faster they respawn, pretty much the moment they go below the minimum amount but have to be at the frequency of spawn rate.

I searched around and _0x114511(0x9b6) does refer to EVOLUTION, it's at least also used on Il Molise and there the chests can penta evolve, so Minute 12 and 13 can multi-evolve, but 10 and 11 can't
@@DexTag I know that 10 can't which is why I said "every chest after" and I am fairly certain (though I will admit this pure recall) that I have used the minute 11 chest to triple evolve. I actively work towards that as a goal. I will admit that I might be mistaken, and I don't care to play the game at this time to prove it. I will take your word for it as far as the code is concerned since I am not informed enough to dispute anything in that arena. I just remember my main focus on my egg farms there was to hit the triple evolve ASAP and in my recollection, minute 11 happened... but we all know how human memory goes... so, yeah.
hey dex, for the infinite farm, whats the optimal position to stand to get max candeliers offscreen for your vicious hunger? indept guide on infinite farm maybe please? :3 also how does luck affect candeliers? does higher luck mean more chicken or does it increase the amount of goldbags? i obviously need more goldbags not chicken xD bit confused about this at how many eggs do you recon you should stop putting them on a character?
I chose Toastie as my main to get all the eggs on. Maintains some degree of challenge for a little longer, but eventually gets easy access to the 65k armor.
Regarding the egg hunt strategy, it can be easily done with Leda even with 0 eggs. Takes around 1 minute. (Less if you roll the NFT or Gatti Amari) I’m not sure if Mad Forest is faster than Moongolow or not though. But since Holy Wand fires fast enough, the 2+ spinach is probably better than Duplicator.
Are you making a new gold farming Guide for people that already have about 2200 eggs? I have seen all of your gold farm videos, but I cant remember a specific build or build to faming after projectiles and Cooldown are gotten capped. Personally I am still using Pugnala and getting about 800k Gold every run. Is the only way to increase the gold by getting more and more stats at this point?
@@christ9123 I used Pugnala and already had 2200 Eggs. I Max guns, Cats, Ring, Axe and Firewand. I used Tome, Spinach, Candelabrador, Projectile ring, Revival thing and Greed upgrade for Cats. Bone Xone, Card Disco of Gold. This works while you have no eggs also, but you will get less, cause you have less projectiles and damage.

@@christ9123 I take all the curse powerups and ingame curse, but early on is might be better to skip it. Test out as you do runs. I would start without curse
I have been waiting until I have all my weapons before I collect any of the weapons on the map, is this how you're supposed to do it or am I wasting my time?
I actually want to upgrade Concetta to at least a few hundred, but i'd like a thousand or so, eggs! Crazy big area still sounds like the most fun thing in this game, so yeah :) That's my endgame goal.
One thing I realised while grinding eggs on Moongolow is that its doable on hurry fairly early on in your character progression. I think I had around 100-200 eggs when I tried this on Pugnala (Dont know if the other characters are strong enough), but it goes really fast and smooth once you learn the method. I start by picking up Stone Mask + Growth -> then I run to get Spinach + Candle -> Then down to get all the items on the down-right side -> and ending by banishing the last four I don't need (You don't have to do this, I just do for satisfaction). You then make sure to get 2 weapon to banish early on = to stop them from evolution + Get Laurel and Lancet *IMPORTANT. After you evolve the guns, if you are playing on Pugnala like me, then take a 3rd weapon and make sure to banish that early as well. TIP: The Stone Mask is probably only viable after you get a bunch of eggs going and are strong enough to get the Gold Fever running at the start all the way to the end Timeline: Start: Get all passive items needed Grind exp and level up needed weapons and items Kill level 10 crab to evolve pistols and get another item to banish Kill the Green carnivorous plant to get arcana for Mad Groove and collect the 4 evolution items to level them up (Focus Rings and Curse) Make sure you are ready with Laurel upgraded and Lancet Evolved at about 14 minutes, so you can kill The Guardians and afterwards The Reaper. TIP: The Cats are insanely good at killing The Guardians fast after they spawn. It takes me about 10-12 minutes each run to get about 50k-60k gold + 12 eggs in total. The most important thing is the early game strength on your character to kill and get going fast. Method about picking weapons might vary on each character so test it out yourself what works best! Edit: After maxing out my main weapon I like upgrading Magnet 2-3 times early as well as upgrading Growth fully early on, so I can secure getting all the exp needed.
What I love about this method is that you dont need to run for each arrow/ring and just focus on getting enough exp until you can get the Mad Groove Arcana
why do you continue thinking phieraggi is the best weapon in the game, when something else ALWAYS shows more damage in the results screen??? manajja is better than phieraggi
Possible, only thing is the weapon is horrific in comparison to others. It's pretty much just a worse version than Smith. Though if someone doesn't want to max the chars out, then it's solid
why not just use mad groove for 2nd arcana and save yourself the stress of running all over the map? even without eggs, red death can handle the guardians quite easily. that way you can just stay around the centre of the map and decide when to pick up which accessory as you like. this is especially necessary for peppino, since the tree... is slow af.
For normal Moongolow farming it rather harms more since you have more than enough time but will lack a ton of XP. For the egghunt strategy yes, turn it off. Hyper Mode also only helps.
it would be cool if you did sort of a reset speed run. restart to a fresh new save and have like 20 runs to see how many eggs you can get on a farmer...or a set time like 5 hours. (you would count the runs you need to unlock the stuff you need to)
You should go gold ring 1st then counter clockwise, so you'd have more curse earlier. Also the regeneration arrow doesn't do much, if u really need it (the effect not the evolve) this farm method is dead anyways.
When he forgets Zi'Assunta get all of the 1% bonus every level but 0.5%. (this is an average of 2% bonus every level while Poppea, giovanna, pugnala and concetta give 1% of one sepcific bonus)
At that time, a maxed out weapon on Assunta did 8 damage. 8. It was so weak it couldn't clear wave 1 on Library. And while the coverage is great, the only 2 stats that are helpful are Might and Area. You are better off to just go for Pugnala - which I recommended - or Concetta, but for Concetta it's a similar but not as bad option that the starting weapon sucks. It's even hard to mention her above Poppea or Giovanna, but Song of Mana/Mannajja are a top tier weapon and Gatti Amari turns quickly into one. I mean the video is heavily outdated, nowadays its Queen to Trouser, that's it.
@@DexTag very fair, though I have found myself to highly enjoy Zi with La Robba seeing as all speed, might and area are good for it. Base weapon sucks though, Zi is a very slow start on runs
if you can make 330k gold in 8 or 9 minutes by dying 111 times, that is worth much more than what you make in 8 or 9 minutes, in game. I've run into a few of these misunderstandings. Please try to avoid them
What are you talking about O.o In 25 minutes of playing I get 10 million. Million. With a character that has enough eggs to have the amount of revivals. That's 400k per minute. At 111 revivals you will gain 112 bonuses, or 12300 Gold. Multiplied by Greed and highest stage multiplicator of 100% (though I am not sure if that one just adds 100% on top of the base value or 100% of the gold value), that would be 12300x12=300k Gold if doubled, else 150k Gold. How do you even call that a misunderstanding? It would be stupid to recommend doing that.
@@jasonfeigenbaum7533 I mathed it out, I don't know what else to do for you. Either you understand how much time it takes to revive and how that isn't worth what you earn, or you don't. It's not about ingame time. It's about real time. If you do 2 runs, one taking 15 minutes and one 20 minutes and the 15 minute run earns you 3 million and the 20 minute run 3.3 million, then the 20 minute run is worse as it's average gold per minute is 165k while the 15 minute run averages 200k gold per minute. I am not here to think for you. I am already giving you way more information than you'd have on your own.
Yea, gold farming is not really needed in the game unless it's for eggs. Though if you are looking for gold in regards to power ups, then I have a video that shows how to get ~170k on Bone Zone. But the game only needs roughly 200k (probably way less now) to max all out
@@DexTag Im getting 1M gold per run now with 2k+ eggs in the Bone Zone, ask for the build if u need it. Ive seen your other videos when you somehow change the script to level up Bloody Tear infinitly. I personally enjoy the content but I also think there should be a warning saying youre not doing this in the actual game
