I just did the west Caribbean out of Miami to Ochi Rios, Cayman, & Cozumel. I must say it was amazing. The ship was beautiful as you see, the events and food was great. The only thing I can say is definitely book excursions through the cruise line ahead of time. Its not worth trying to cut corners and go cheaper at the port with locals. If your're not carful you will get ripped off. but yeah great ship, great experience, great trip!
very very nice vid! love the music choice! even with being on Horizon in September it seems like theres so much on that ship! will be on her again in August of this year and March of 2025 and in Havana again as well woooo!
question tho - where is the shake shack located on this ship? u mentioned the seating felt like a red lobster but i didnt recall seeing a shake shack on the ship
Hi Will 👋🏽the theater was open showing regular movies. I’m not sure about the thrill part. I didn’t see anything on the cruise planner advertising the thrill theater.
Thanks for the tour! I especially appreciate it since I’ve never been on a cruise, nor have I ever wanted to. Even with the enormous size, I’d feel a bit caged in. I’d feel that way if I was fenced in 10 or 20 city blocks too after a short time as well. I love great food and I’m a SCUBA diver, so I love the ocean also. But I’d get so bored on a ship like that and I’d want to go home so quickly I wouldn’t even try it. I don’t do well with people en masse and don’t do complicated or confusing; all of which this looks like. It would be great as a shopping mall and I’d love to spend a day there, but not much more, as long as I could leave. It’s kinda cartoonish in its colors and designs, and wonder who would approve of such. It looks more like a tourist stop, rather than a destination itself. I have friends who love going on cruises and their stories are so boring I wouldn’t want to be the one telling them, but they sure do. It's like the old fisherman telling big fish tales. I'm sure some would question some things I like as well. My appreciation of the video is genuine; I really did enjoy it - well done. Thanks!
Thank you for watching and liking the video. Yup cruising is not for everyone especially cruises with many sea days. And I agree sometimes carnival cruise ships select colors that can make the ship feel very cartoonish/kiddish!
Yup those are Christmas trees as it was a Christmas cruise. Check out our Carnival Horizon vlog series. Link at the top of the comments. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! On our sailing the Reflections dining room was used for our set time dining. As featured in our vlogs, we dined there many nights for set time dining.
