Impossible to get into space 220. Booked solid everyday during my 60 day dining reservation window.

Yeah, it is very difficult. My recommendation is to check the day before you go to the park, it seems like reservations open up the day before. The other great option is to go to the lounge, they have great drinks as well as some good bar food, its not the entire experience, but a nice area.

I don't see Africa on the epcot world showcase maps

There is just a brief little section between China and Germany, mainly just a place where kids can play some traditional drums, a refreshment stand and a couple of stands with African crafts. I don't know if they consider it an official area there, but it exists.
