This is a wonderful guide. I've saved it in my favorites for later use. Is there any easy or relativity cheap way to capture gaming/movie footage for use in a RU-vid video...or does that require a bit more of an investment?
Thank you! The section I feel could have used more time to work on is the OBS video capture part. Depending on what you want, it's possible to capture your computer screen through OBS. If you are talking about capturing something over HDMI. I have found that there is a decent quality 20$ capture card out there. The "Vivitar HDMI to USB Video Converter with Real-Time HDMI Video and Audio for Live Streaming, Includes USB-C Adapter Cable, Black www.walmart.com/ip/936344280" can be hooked up to your computer and opened through "video sources" in OBS. It's not the highest quality option but I think it's a really solid entry level choice. It is possible to record audio and video from it, but from what I recall it can take a little figuring. If you decide to get one and can't figure it out, I can get out the one I picked up and see if I can figure it out. I've recorded gameplay over it to test it out and I was impressed for the price point.
Hello luke, I just recently got a wii (sorry I know it is unrelated) so I was watching your videos expecting a few thousand subs, but I was shocked at how few subs you have for how high quality your videos are, to see that you made a guide is awsome! this will be going in a playlist for me to come back to, hope you have a good day :)
Thanks! @cheese_walker, this is very motivating to hear. I'm glad you found something you wanted in my content. I really appreciate the effort to stop and let me know you enjoyed it. I hope you have a good day as well!
