hi! your videos are really helpful! but jus wanna check, for inequality, we shld not cross multiply right? but rather multiply both sides by a constant?
@@Essy-sm9er thank you! it works out to be the same result if you do the cross multiplication correctly :) where the line going downwards is the left side of the equation (ahhh ifs so hard to explain over text 😭😭)
its by doing some algebra manipulation. From x + 2 < 4x, we minus off both sides by 2 so it becomes x < 4x -2, then we minus off both sides by 4x, so it becomes x - 4x < -2, which simplifies to -3x < -2
Ahhhh ok i see, i forgot that X is literally 1X so i was confused how 3 came out even though the only numbers in there were 4 and 2 lol @@wonjontheaxolotl
omg last minute questions before bed how do you get 54 with that little tower of numbers at 13:11 ?1??1!1!1!!😭 And how to solve something like in the form of =number(fraction)square/cube? [Shown at 13:19]
we solve the equation at the bottom left. multiply both sides by 5, then shift all the numbers to the right to isolate out the y variable then u can solve y = 8.
