Lamplight has the BEST brussel sprouts I've ever had anywhere. Also the poke is good. Salmon blt is amazing. Love the lobster nachos. I will try the potato's next!
YES to a Pt. 2 that includes table service AND Downtown Disney spots! "Team Matterhorn" coconutty-goodness ALL the way! taste and preservability for "later" give it the edge! But I DO also enjoy the raspberry macaron, though it's a bit of an "acquired" taste I think, especially for kids! I *suspect* that some rose water is used in the making of the delectable delight but I have no factual evidence to support my statement; just my taste buds! LOL! As always, love your informative vids and ESPECIALLY the DLR ones since I'm ON the left coast and DLR is my only real Disney destination!
I would have added Darth by Chocolate to that list. I know it’s another one that is seasonal and sells out quickly, but if you order early enough, at Galactic Grill, you will know why it is so high in demand.
Just got back from Disneyland/DCA and we were surprised how good the bacon macaroni and cheese in the bread cone is at Cozy Cone. My son liked the chili queso one. I agree with the toffee and the breakfast chimichanga. I was pleasantly surprised by that chimichanga.
Team Matterhorn Macaroon all the way! Please do part 2. You forgot thw cookies sold in the lobby of the Grand Californian. The gingerbread cookies are legendary. Love seeing Disneyland get some love from the Walt Disney World...er...Disney Food Blog. TEAM DISNEYLAND!
I'm eating ALL of these when we visit Disneyland on Halloween 2023!! Oh, and I agree that the food is way better in Disneyland! I have to also mention brunch at Storytellers!
I'm obsessed with the traditional churros! I also love the frozen apple juice in fantasy land! Oh and the sun dried tomato chicken pesto pasta in tomorrow land! There's so many good foods!
YES PLEASE! Used to be a WDW goer.... but now with a baby, its just easier in DLR and have been missing the DFB foodie guides for the west coast! Keep em coming! We are heading over there in October for the Halloween season!
Breakfast Chimichanga is worth getting to the park early for before they sell out!!! 😋 Also, my favourite thing of all time is the Quesa Birria Tacos at Cocina Cucamonga!!🌮
Team Matterhorn Macaroon here. Also: the hand pies are a cool hidden treat! Five different flavors each at a different location around the resort, the pastry has a perfect crumble and the flavors all pop in their own ways!
I just Tiana restaurant us going to be goid. It sucks it will not or probably wont be a meet and greet restaurant smh. As you stated it supposed to be quick service smh. I recently wrote a few letters to Disneyland company regarding a Tiana. A few things pisses me off with lack of merchandise and super hard meeting her and location with meeting her smh.
I'm offended that you left off the Fried Chicken at Flo's in DCA. I literally dream about that chicken in between trips. It is the one place we make sure we go to during every trip.
RE: Jolly Holiday - there really can't be a right answer. These are definitely my top two. Raspberry Rose gets points for being a little more rare and a little more hard to acquire at times since it is often sold out. Matterhorn macaroon gets points for everything you described. Plus the price cannot be beat. They're both so different! We are lucky to have them both :-)
Never been to DL, but used to work with a girl from Mexico that would occasionally bring in her delicicious homemade Churros… Every time I have ordered one in WDW, they taste either stale, or like they’ve been fried in old grease that’s gone slightly bad. How do they get them so wrong?? Lol…. Anyway, if/when I get to DL, I’ll make sure to try theirs, and not be discouraged by all the bad WDW ones I’ve encountered.
Going the end of next month to Disneyland and was excited to see these picks! Would love to see more Disneyland content. Looking forward to trying the cheese stick at the Corn Dog Castle.
Specifically for the Bengal Barbeque; it is worth it to go during the busiest times of the day due to the high turnover of ingredients for those skewers. If you go at 3pm or 9pm at night when the rush is down, you may get tough and stringy asparagus or chewy meats due to being warmed over for a few hours. It's best to mobile order in the morning for a noon pick up and grab a riverside seat over at Tropical Hideaway. Enjoy!
This was such a HUGE help! Going to Disneyland this summer for the first time & just made 2 reservations from watching this! Any suggestions for gluten free snacks?
THANK YOU! First time at Disneyland this week and I was torn about getting the Raspberry Rose macaroon. Not a big fan of rose and love your honest opinion! Looks like I’m gonna get the Matterhorn macaroon! 😍
This channel is literally the reason I tried Bengal BBQ and you’re literally the reason you’ve driven a Brit insane because I will probably never have it again in my lifetime. Curse the fact that Disneyland Paris is a great park APART from good food
The potatoes skins at the Lamplight are the worst! Seriously overrated. People who recommend them have questionable taste--i don't think it's a preference thing. I think they are objectively bad.
Hmmm Jolly Holiday pastry debate huh? To be honest ladies, I personally wasn't impressed with either one, flavorwise. Not a fan of white chocolate (a bit too sweet), though the coconut part was alright...the one my sis and I shared was a bit on the stale side. 😢 And Macrons aren't a favorite either because they are again a bit too sweet for my palate. However, I like the idea of the tartness from the fresh raspberries balancing it out a little. My absolute favorite pastry to get at Jolly Holiday would be either a chocolate crossaint or a seasonal danish. Anywho, Great video!
The churros in Disneyland are just way more fresh and they have so many seasonal flavors unlike Disneyworld. I grew up going to Disneyland and when I finally went to disneyworld the churros were disappointing.
never been to either parks but im going in a few months. can i ask do both parks have the same kind of foods? are they both totally different? will they have some things the same in land and world? thanks
There is some overlap between Disneyland and DCA. Standard corndogs, chicken tenders, burgers etc at both. But outside of Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, overall DCA has more variety similar to Epcot. You’d have to check what’s similar and different between DLR and WDW though. There are too many to mention. Like the spicy green milk at Disneyland.
Corn dogs are the biggest rip off at the parks. They should be no more than $5, yet they sell them for $12. They don’t even taste better than ones you can get out of the parks. Just spend a few more bucks and you can get a meal that tastes better and is more worth your money. I kinda hope you don’t include it in the next video.
Yes, definitely a part 2!! Also, I have had both the Matterhorn Macaroon and the Mickey Macaron and while they are both great the Matterhorn gets my vote. The Macaron is too delicate and can break easily.
Since my family has to go cheap we did a yummy yummy cookie for breakfast lol and went to Hollywood section and got a bomb hit dog meal in that section at California adventures for good price and 2nd day at dinsyland we got got food in front of jungle cruise they have beef on a stick very good and at end we got words best corndogs
