Wow great setup what i immediately saw from this kayak is all your room you have especially on the deck, now I know why you look so comfortable on it during tournaments. Thanks for sharing with us your setup, I really liked the ability to maneuver around to get you better angles quick in a hurry. My question for you is will you said something about a new kayak coming will this be motor driven only or do you like the fin drive ability?
Hey! Thanks so much. My new kayak will be a 2024 Hobie PA 14 with the new 360XR drive. It's the same type of fin (mirage) drive that this boat has. I will also be running the new NK180PRO stern mounted kayak outboard on the new boat.
Very nice video , i have been very happy with my ap sportman 136 , however i have been debating a pro angler , I love the storage options and the idea of having the mirage drive option and a bowmount motor for spot lock , I really got spoiled with the spot lock on my boat, however the idea of having instant reverse and being quiet with the mirage drive in the back waters is very appealing.hmmmm you got me thinking
Hey that boat looks familiar! 😀 You picked it up at the dealer after the seminar! We used to laugh at a guy who put 10K into a Hobie but now thats a "ghetto boat!" You have a lot more on this one
@@wesliegrayfishing OOPS! well its still the same color. I have a blue bigfish 108 that I am modifying to take a trolling motor, its twin is the kayak I use and love the comfort. Can't wait to get them on the trailer so Ican have options. Do you recommend side imaging or front imaging?
It’s all good! They are both the same color - so, totally understandable! If you can only have one - I’d go with side imaging (which has down imaging by default). Forward facing sonar takes a lot of time to learn to use and is a whole separate transducer situation.
