I believe that was the old RU-vid. Now you get the same revenue in 1 long video compared to multiple smaller videos due to mid roll ads?

Ocean You get the same ad revenue (in theory), but you get less engagement. The algorithm favours frequency above all else. Even if all else was equal, RU-vid’s algorithm would favour you uploading 3x per week as opposed to 1x per week. But not all else is equal; you also get more views. If someone uploads 1 30min video per week and it gets 100k views, and 10k likes, if that person instead made 3x 10min videos per week, they would likely get 100k views and 10k likes per video just the same, so on net balance, plus RU-vid’s favouring frequency about all else, it would be much more beneficial (on paper) to split this into 3 videos.
