So refreshing to see a car focused on performance versus looks. This makes me so excited to drop a K20 in my EK! Great video

The CRX has become very rare and expensive. B-swaps have gotten crazy expensive from what they used to be. I bought my crx for $700(stock driver) in 2008, I spent about 2 years and $2,500 piecing together and building a b16 swap. It only makes 184hp and I love it. If you were going to try and build one today, I think it would cost 2-3x that. Save the EF's, K-swap the world. Be Safe all !

I have an 88hf CRX with a k24a2 mated to a type S 6 speed. I know very well the complexity of this swap. Same shifter setup as well. Totally a more involved swap than putting a K into an EG or Ek. Super jealous of the AC!

Sick build - your customer has good taste. But something you said caught my attention: "No one has done AC in a K swap car before" right around minute mark 4:50. Do you mean in a CRX? Because I have a K swap EK with RBC intake, AC, P/S, and passes Illinois emissions and its been complete and driving since last year. You are dead on, it is not easy, and all credit to Rudz Racing here for making it happen. Love all the content, Humble Performance always delivers!!!

I love my sleepers. Had a 98 EJ8 coupe. Stock steelies and hubcaps. Did a complete B16a SIR-II swap in it and drove it like that for over a decade. No where near as cool as this build but at the time it was a fun car that caught a lot of people off gaurd simply because it looked stock. I miss that car so much that I just picked up 2000 EJ8 same color with rod knock and I plan on doing another reliable sleeper build.

I'd have to agree that horse power is not everything I built a 92 civic hatch to daily drive it has a k24a2 swap and plenty for what I do. it made 231hp 200tq and it's stock with rdx injectors

Totally Lowkey and under the radar with those wheels and that color its so unassuming.

Car is awesome. I kinda want to go crazy with miata parts and welding & custom fabrication but the idea of a k20 with ac is very cool . Mines a 5 spd crx si. I also have an 04 odyssey which i actually love but rhe transmission is going. That j35 will go in something one day. I wanted a 3g civic hatchback but came across the crx for 500$ too good to pass up. Cheers thanks for the video

I've got a 1991CRX DX W/ 344K miles on it with 5 Speed and factory AC (Still works) and original Clutch. I use it as a daily driver... Teal Green. Owned it for 18 years, since 2005. Any idea what it may be worth? I saw a '91 SI that went for 21K on Bring a Trailer from Tucson, Az. Mine is solid AZ no rust...... in AZ since new ...............

I have had my CRX for about 18 years now and most of its time sitting in my garage. I recently took it out and revamped the fuel system, brakes, top end gasket and seals... currently working on getting the body restored through a local body shop here in south florida. My desire is to make 200HP on a Bseries swap or build up my D-series motor... kinda torn at the moment cause I really haven't really decided, what I truly want to do...

When opening the interaction, if one talks fast, it triggers a response that says oh that guy's trying to steamroll me like some typical salesman. The listener has counter it each time in their mind. RBC, ebay gt3582 or 3076r, 6 speed si trans, Hondata, and lowish boost and id call it good. Last i budgeted it you could do it for under $5k back when rollers were cheap. wish i had done it

On the outside yeah, looks stock but open the bonnet and it's a dead giveaway it's not stock at all. Not a true Sleeper. I shouldn't complain though, at least it hasn't been gutted out and turned into a dragster like most other 'rex.
