I have finally released the WAGO KBUS API! An open source project to unlock the most diverse IO system available and read/write the process data directly with MQTT. This means you can swap out your PLC runtime for any programming tool you like, even Node-RED, Python, or directly connect to AWS and control your system from anywhere in the world!

Thank you for the great post! However, I have a problem: On the Wago website, it says the following about your project: "This API works on the PFC200 Generation 2 controllers using Docker or can run on the PFC200 Generation 1 or PFC100 directly on the host OS (this requires strict firmware 19)." Can you explain to me how I can get the API running on my PFC100 750-8102? If I understand correctly, it should be possible, right?! Unfortunately, Docker cannot be installed on the PFC100 Gen1.

Incredibly good job! Tested this out today, it worked perfectly with Digital IO. But I also tried to communicate with analog module 750-471, but did not get any value from this. Do you have any experience using this module? I also have a desire to control an ECB with IO-Link, do you think that would be possible with the K-bus API from Node-Red?
