Loved your video! My family and I just visited Kauai for the first time back in May 2018. We stayed with a college friend and his family. Our stay was way too short! We were only there for 2 days, as our main trip was to Oahu. We will be definitely coming back to Kauai in the near future, so we can try many of these things you mentioned in your video. Cheers!
Yes, at least a few times a week perfect sunsets can be relied upon, barring any major storms. And yes many areas can be travelled to by foot and if you're up to it, go for it! This video was aimed at the average vacationer that is less adventurous since many of those trails are very challenging and sometimes downright dangerous.
Great video. I visited Kauai a couple weeks ago and did almost a carbon copy of this trip. Would also recommend the Back Country Tubing adventure (my favorite part of the trip) and hiking the Wai Koa Loop Trail. For those who get seasick (I did even after using seasick pills) you might want to skip the catamaran tour. Mine was 5 1/2 hrs long and it was torture. You will see just as much and more with the helicopter tour (I used Safari Helicopters and it was great).
Been to Kauai three times and about to go on my fourth. You did a good short video of adventures and places to see. Just think should have had more beaches - there are many beaches to see. Even after three visits, this was helpful and good to view.
