That's really the point of these now. I could care less about fakes if the quality rivals that of a genuine pair, but I don't appreciate being scammed.
@@SneakCleaners519 I’m saying that reps are are just as good now! I’m either buying retail for authentic or copping the reps for something I really wanted but missed out on 🤷🏾♂️ no point in paying over retail
The elephant print does vary but what I noticed on the retail pairs is that the elephant print on the front of the shoe is a little faded and the elephant print on the back is thicker. The UAs have dark elephant print on the front and back
The ball on the Jumpman lines up with the "D" in JORDAN on the authentic ones. Easy as that. On the fakes the Jumpman is offset to the right. Very easy to tell.
bro your reps are legit because thats exactly how i got mine from a legit store because my yellowing is light and not dark..the front doesn't slope and looks just like the reps so i don't know if i got a rep pair or if you are just not accurate with the info..not sure what to think..mine is also vw1
Authentic vw1 pairs exist, that’s the factory reps tried to copy off of. The midsole paint can actually vary on them too. What’s not supposed to he a different color though is the grey outsole and the sock liner, and the jumpman on the tongue, or the colors of the insoles
I personally don’t think there is any real quality differences between my pair and the rep in this videos. The things that always set real pairs and reps apart is accuracy, not quality
I can’t speak for other pairs, but they’re pretty much the same quality wise between the pairs in this video. It’s never about quality these days, it’s about accuracy
@@fbkickzngear2.0 I just purchased mines from Goat and I noticed they are coming from overseas as per usual. Is there another site to get a legit pair?
That’s preference. I like the slimmer toe box and elephant print on the retail pair. It’s way closer to the 1988 pair they were trying to recreate in the first place
@@fbkickzngear2.0 That's fair but why didn't Jordan brand do the same thing with the toe box etc with the black cement and fire red, true blue 3s true in the og form? I mean they had the opportunity and so much time, I believe it's a selling tactic/gimmick they use in order for everybody to keep on buying, switch a few things around but you'll never get the true og Jordan's, they tried with these reimagined 3s but everybody knows that in 1988 these never came pre aged, that's the only thing off about these shoes and also the shoebox is incorrect
@@is2fiftyslowfsport744 because this was a special release under the "reimagined" series. the lost and founds (another shoe in the reimagined series) has a shape that no other jordan 1 has up to this point. Nike is a marketing company that sells shoes. Their job is to come out with shoes and reasons to make people buy them. if they wanted to do an 85 series with the 3s like they did with the ones, they would have done that. instead they chose to take elements of the original 3s and add a twist. And those change ups lead to reps struggling in some aspects to be accurate. If those differences dont bother you than thats fine.
