i just realised you only have 2k subs, honestly a shame. by the quality of the vid and the size of the collection i would have guess you have a few 100k subs... great video and crazy collection
Thanks so much for the support! I just launched this channel officially this past September so I’m happy with how it has grown so far, and it’s thanks to supporters and commenters like you who keep it going! Spread the word and thanks!
S8 Harumi was amazing and I don’t think anything has ever come close since, but before her, Nadakhan was also an incredibly well-acted, developed, and written villain who I’d also love to see return someday. What about you?
@@DuckBricks id say in terms of power, the overlord. hes defeatable but like lloyd, without light theres no shadow and vice versa, acronix and krux proved to have been a greater threat than most Ninjago villians.the most physchotic i would say is chen just because of how much of a madman he was in season 4
@@destroier_-jt9pj those are all great picks, and the Overlord especially has such a great voice actor and commanding presence. I wish they went further with the Time Twins and while I was a bit let down with S7 as a whole, both in terms of story and voice acting, they were a cool character concept and I’d love to see them be given justice in some future Ninjago story
Haha ya for real, tbh I actually prefer displaying those dragons without the Zamor spheres because I think they just look kinda strange with the launchers/spheres in their mouths 😂
Yeah that’s a great idea; I did that a few times and then went back and forth on deciding whether I wanted to display them as accurately as possible to the sets or the show, but tbh I’ll probably just remove the shooters as they look a lot better without them
Yup, www.bricklink.com is the best source to get discontinued sets! I actually recently put out a video on how to price optimize with it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PGBgZPBkOrY.html Good luck!
You will probably won’t reply to this comment because it’s been a year but I’m really jealous of you because that is just too good and I want to be like you when I will be older
I would highly recommend the Skull Sorceror’s Dragon - overall a much better and more interesting build IMO; the castle is sadly pretty barebones and the dragon included isn’t as unique as the Skull Sorceror Dragon
Hey, is it a good time to get into ninjago? I never got into it when it began and i am curious if its worth it to begin now like in the holiday season xD
Now’s as good of a time as any! I’d say especially if you are a fan of Bionicle, Ninjago is kinda like a spiritual successor where LEGO is concerned. If you’re willing to overlook the very kid-friendly and cheesiness of the pilots and seasons 1-2, it really picks up afterwards and season 5 onwards is super super solid (minus season 7, which had a ton of writing issues completely outside of the creator’s control). Seasons 8-9 are a masterpiece and on par with some of the best Bionicle storytelling, IMO. And now is the perfect time with Legacy going strong to pick up set representations of stuff you may like in the show!
@@DuckBricks amazing! Thanks for the advice! I have 2 doubts now, one, is Ninjago on Netflix? And if it isn't, where can i watch it? And also how about the sets, are there any interesting ones i should be on the lookout in this next Christmas to gift myself?? :D
So everything from the very start to season 9 is on Netflix. The one issue with this is that Seasons 8-10 form a complete trilogy, so if you only watch what’s on Netflix, you will be left hanging (that being said, season 10 is significantly worse than 8 or 9 due to being shoehorned in at the last minute - think Bionicle 2005 being a late addition to the 2004 story). Currently, Ninjago is up to season 13, which was honestly a really good season after a kinda shaky season 12 and very very shaky season 11. Seasons 11-13 are not available to stream... basically anywhere. You can buy season 10 on iTunes, but in terms of 11 - 13, you have to use the Cartoon Network app and associate a cable provider, if you have one. (That is, unless you are willing to resort to... slightly less legal means, which I don’t recommend but LEGO certainly isn’t making it easy to find). In terms of sets, depending on what genre you like, there’s tons of amazing sets both on shelves and coming soon. The Legacy Destiny’s Bounty is a great set and a very iconic part of Ninjago - some iteration of the Destiny’s Bounty vehicle appears in almost every season of the show, so it’s a super nice one to get that’s applicable for both play and display to represent Ninjago as a whole. Same goes for the Monastery of Spinjitzu legacy set, which came out in Winter 2019 so I’d act fast on that one. Next year, if you are familiar with the 2017 Ninjago Movie sets, we are finally getting a third expansion, although this will be $300 so certainly a big investment. In terms of smaller stuff that’s still fun to get, the Legacy Thunder Raider is a very solid set, as well as Wu’s Battle Dragon, a perfectly charming $20 offering that gives a taste of Ninjago sets as whole. Let me know if you decide to get into the show or the sets! Always glad to introduce a LEGO fan to Ninjago :)
@@DuckBricks DAMN! You do knoe your way on your favorite theme! I like that! Thanks for all the info bro! I for sure gonna check it out on netflix! At least from 1-9 (and who knows maybe they'll add the next ones eventually) i really really thank you on this introduction to Ninjago! Maybe when the minifigs video comes up, ill be watching it! So ill be sure to let you know who of the ninjas is my favorite! I'll certainly be in touch to get recomendations from you for the sets whenever i buy from lego/toystore :D you are the Mvp man keep it up with the amazing content and attention to your fans! I'll be in tune to the next vid for sure!
So happy to help and glad you are checking it out! Keep me updated and I’d love to hear what you think of it! Thanks for being a consistent supporter of the channel. Is there any kind of video you’d like to see or a theme you’d want us to cover? I’m always trying to give the viewers content they really wanna see so let me know; I’m a big fan of basically every LEGO theme so literally anything is fair game haha
Doesn’t count how many sets you have .. counts how you display them! This collection is just bricks on top of each other! I love the guy tho that has the collection..i have seen his full Lego collection..but still sad 😞
That’s a good point! I also wish I had enough space to display them all fully, but I try to work with the confines I have - maybe someday I’ll have a bigger space to display everything in a museum style format!
@@DuckBricks I wish you the best man! I know how important are the hobbies in general..and i suppose you love Lego..so i wish one day to be able to have them in the way you want! Me i’m an AFOL and have big collection..i managed everything with my wife and i took the whole living room and office 😛 In general tho, really make me sad ..that so many people on RU-vid they have their collection in very bad display..even popular Lego RU-vidrs that they have space also.. Anyway..nice to talk to you man!
That’s a good question! I personally loved the Ninjago Movie one for a great price and value, but for some other TV show ones, Lloyd’s NRG dragon from the second wave of Skybound was fantastic, especially the way the wings looked. The recent Griefbringer/Skull Sorceror dragon is super unique too, and certainly a standout. Wu’s Possession dragon also has a pretty stunning wing technique that looks great, and of course the Overlord dragon isn’t an amazing set build wise but the story significance elevates it a great deal.
I’ll definitely consider it if there’s enough interest! It’s not quite within the normal viewer interest for this channel, but maybe as a special or something!
Thanks for checking it out and I appreciate it! Glad to be able to share it all! And haha, I wish I had more space too as you may probably tell from the video
