@Gary Smith. At 6:43, a hole is tapped into the chassis, and then a bolt is inserted into assembly that is being attached to the chassis. This bolt that was just inserted (6:51 in the video) is the one that needs to be tightened under the cart with the provided nut.
Gas Precedents require the installation of a Gas Harness. Other than that, the setup is the same. The Bucket Harness, shown on this installation is for electric models.
for the relay under dash....i have the harness however the wires for the relay are not color coded like yours. do you have instructions on this set up?
6:20 might be an excellent time to inform the viewer that it's a LEFT HAND THREAD. It's corroded down there and they might....you know. Break something.
Thank you for this video sir! Every thing works except after 30-45 seconds the brake lights fail until you reset the ignition with the key. Any thoughts on this issue?
I just installed this in my 2010 CC Precedent. All works perfect, except for the following: When turning the signal on (for example: right), the right taillight blinks BRIGHT, but the left taillight also blinks LOW. The opposite occurs of course if I indicate left. Note that when the headlights are on, the problem does not present itself, presumably because the when the headlights are on, the rear lights will be steady LOW. Do you know why this is happening?
