This is not accurate! Any card that has lets say 5 awakening levels will require 15 copies of that card to max it out. When you spend exp on a card (enhance it), when the exp bar is maxxed, it will then consume 1 of your duplicates in order to level it. So from level 0 to 1 will require a FULL bar of exp AND 1 (base card) plus 1 duplicate to get to level 1. Then from 1 to 2, it will require additional duplicate in order to level it again. Once you have maxxed the cards awakening, any future duplicates you consume will be converted into card EXP for the pool. So you should not delete cards... Level 1: One duplicate card Level 2: Two duplicate cards Level 3: Three duplicate cards Level 4: Four duplicate cards Level 5: Five duplicate cards 15 Duplicates to max awaken a single card. Plus the original card.
For example if you have a card that has a MAX of 5 awakening levels, and you have never leveled it before, in your UI it will show the base card with +12 meaning you have 12 duplicates which is enough to get the card to level 5 assuming you have enough EXP in the exp pool. This is identical to how gear is honed, first you create the EXP, then you consume mats to actually level the gear, except in this case the mats are duplicate cards, and the EXP comes from EXP cards and/or duplicated maxxed cards. The system is a typical Korean grind, it will take you years to max it especially considering only 1 copy of some cards drop (awarded 1 as map completion for example), so the only way to get 12 more copies is from the cash shop.

With the delete button you can turn them into exp and thus level up cards you really want to have. But you shouldn't delete cards you want to level. At least I think this is the way to go about it. You can only store 120 by default and need blue gems (ie gold or cash) to unlock additional rows, for 30 each until 200 and 50 each afterwards. You actually do get the bonus for owning the card, even if you dont own it anymore. Throwing away cards *is* an option if you dont plan on absolutely min-maxing at lategame. However, while you get the bonus for owning the card even after removing it, you cant awaken it. And lategame, you can get up to 5% damage against demons, for example, through the passive card boni, and those come from awakening. So TL;DR: technically you can throw away cards. But if you end up playing the game for years and reached everything else there is to reach, then you might dislike that decision. But.. it's literally so far into the future and such a little difference, that most players can delete cards they dont need (for active sets) without a worry. Saintone is one of the best Sorceress players in korea. Just to put things into perspective, he is at like 2.9% bonus damage to demons. After playing for years likely.
@@marie5517 I think he meant delete a card if you have one to replace it with, so instead of having doubles of cards you dont need , delete the card for exp then use the card to get it back.
Careful.... There is a use for duplicate cards, and your video made it sound like duplicate cards isn't necessary, but you're incorrect. You can ‘level up’ cards for higher set bonuses. If for example a set has 6 cards and there’s an 18pt required bonus, you could fulfill said bonus for example with 6x lvl 3 cards or a different combination that totals above said threshold. To level up a card u need duplicates as well as card xp. The process is generally, pump a card with xp untill its capped then spend your duplicates to give it the actual level. The higher the card level, the more duoplicates you need. Cards have different max levels they can reach, indicated by the number of empty gems on them in the card ui. If your card is already maxed you have no need for further duplicates, hence it gets transformed into card xp automatically. There are cards that can’t be leveled, if you did get duplicates of such cards, you can’t really have more than 1 in your deck anyway so don’t worry if they got turned into xp cos it’s all you can do with them.

I misinterpreted the information in this guide and I've been deleting cards to get enhancement points, but you need duplicate cards in order to fuse them and reach the next rank of the card.
Woah woah, PLEASE DO NOT delete cards. Cards are hard to obtain, and you're literally deleting progress. You wouldn't delete honing materials because your bank is full. Buy more card slots, or leave cards in your storage until you can afford more slots.

One method is making Alt Characters to redo the quests to get the cards. One of the best ones, can't remember the name you can get from a level 34 quest. Lots of people make alts just to do that quest.
Why would anyone delete cards? You get other bonuses for having card "books" even not in the active deck. Bruh, you have no idea what you are talking about and stop telling people to do dumb stuff in the game. Do not delete cards, go to cards(Atl + C) and look at Books tab. You do not want to delete cards so you can keep those collected books for more stats

Why would you delete a card? This makes zero sense to me. Even after cards are fully awakened, learning the cards gives card xp used to awakened more cards. Deleting a card at all is dumb af.

why the fck would you delete cards.... just by doing the story and random content I've gotten these items that look like card but a bit different in look and these give Card EXP, as a iLv 560 I have around 150k card EXP and not enough duplicates of cards I'm using that I want to spend to upgrade(all without deleting a single card). I dislike how you've really pushed the want more cards? just buy them with real money, not only is it a waste of money to buy them but you can get way more card pack just by playing the game as you normally would for free. I really think you should have done more research into the card system and the game before pushing out this video. Using "Korean grind" as an excuse is pretty shitty and false, the more I play the game the more I realize how little grind there is, yeah some sections of the game have a shit ton of grind but that's only if you want to 100% that section. Other then that there is not that much grind compared to other games
If an alt gets the same achievement can you get a second copy of that card? So maybe all of these one time only cards you can get multiples without the RNG.

Awesome vid, man…Thanks! I heard/saw mention of issues with duplicate cards and having to destroy all of them (vs. splitting and destroying one). You can split them before you use them and apply them to your collection. That way you can add one in your collection and have one in your inventory to spare. Of course, that will start to eat away inventory space as you gain duplicate cards LOL. Anyway, I’m sure this is probably obvious to everybody but thought I would mention it just in case. the problem of card is not get them, is to get rid of them. the card in game is way more than your maximum slot, say 120 slots, then you need pay crystal to expand slots or you must delete some card to make space, very annoying
A question. Ive been playing and i just filled up my catalog. Do you recomend i just look through my cards and delete the ones that have weaker sets to make room?
I'm still not sure if I was ok when right-clicking duplicate cards or not. Did I mess up by doing that? Since they take up inventory slots, I just right click them all.
I messed up, I cleared a dungeon which gave me 2 cards and I used both. I'm guessing you only get cards from that boss on 1st clear. Is there a way to get it again? Because when it opens the chest I didn't get any drops.

If card set has 7 cards, and requires 18 awakening for first extra card bonus. Does it count awakenings from all 7 cards, or only from 6 equipped ones?
But how do you get something like desolate meadow card pack? I can't find info on finding any of these region specific card packs to give better chances at a subset of cards.

Ah shit... I've been just right clicking the duplicates thinking that they would give me card xp since I already had a copy in my card catalog... If I understand what you've said correctly I've been just adding cards to my catalog over and over again and not getting card xp from them right?
The info in this video is very wrong. You need those duplicates to lvl up the awakening slots on those cards. You also need card xp, which you get by using the cards called "soul leaf" "eternity essence" "creation fragment" and "menelik's tome".... so dont delete cards, that's really bad advice.
Lot of cards, but you only need specific ones for your class. It'll take years to get all of them leveled up, but when you're maining a class it wont take as long

How can this be a completionist game when you can't even have all the cards? :/ It's limited to 120, but i believe even if you unlock all the unlockable slots it's sill less than all the existing cards.
so basically that is the ACTUAL way of money milking in this game. by abusing those hardcore tothe max Min-Maxer whales into buying randomized Cards. you want that last piece of set bonus, that gives you +0,001 %dmg on trash mops? just buy infinite amounts of card packs and hope you get the right crads!
Ok so I have been trying to get the ark cards like Ortuus, Asta, Agaton etc; however, even though I have completed the quests to unlock those cards i still dont have them in my inventory/card catalog. If someone has an answer for me, PLEASE help me ive been trying to do this for too long.
one video says the bonuses are significant, another says they are irrelevant, really hard to get an idea for how much it matters with how each youtube has a different take on it and says it like theirs is fact and not opinion.
The no spaces name rule is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. You can't even name a card deck with a space?! Not to mention your character name which reduces the number of unique names ten fold. Don't even get me started on the no capital letter, numbers or special characters not being allowed either.
This is way too tedious and too small of bonuses for me to put too much effort it. I'll just go for one flexible deck and call it quits lol. This game has enough grinding as is. But I really do appreciate the video as I was confused about how exactly cards worked. Now I know I was correct and its just not enough to really care about. I am glad its in the game though as kind of a passive progression that will eventually be useful. And I can see why people would try and collect them all
