This was a pretty sick draft...I found out that also RG has a great madness base with reckless wurm, faithless looting, mad prophet, sparkspitter and fiery temper ALL at common
The green madness base is insane in this format. I won my a draft at my LGS with a mono green madness deck, got myself a nice little Karn box topper for my work :)
So I know you're never gonna see this, you probably don't care, and there may or may not be anything you can do about it, there's a light pulsing or knocking sound in the sub range throughout this video. Anyway, thanks for the content!
I love me some blue green! Not always the top tier of deck archetypes, but so many blue green decks just end up playing just the way I like too. Whether it's draft or constructed, it always makes me feel like I get to be aggressively controlling while also being brutally violet and tricky. When I stared playing Magic, blue was the go to as that was the color that allowed me to try pull off my goofy combo's. As the years went on, I began to dislike plain draw/counter/go/control. I got bored playing it. Win or lose, it got really bland. I still wanted to smash your face with my munsters. But I LOOOOOVED to manipulate the board as well. Then along came a deck called Full English Breakfast. It my first foray into an amazingly tricky fun counter beatdown deck that was primarily blue & green, with Survival of the Fittest, counter magic, and a tool box assortment of creatures. Still my favorite deck! And ever since Iv'e found more and more blue green decks that made the most interesting games for me.
Eternal really is a great game! Been playing it about a year, haven't spent any real life money on packs. This card game's niche is being the most f2p digital card game.
Love the videos and you content LSV!!! I have a minor audio gripe though...I can hear a dull thumping on the microphone, its a bit distracting, what is it?
Mongrels are Wild this draft. Match 1 game 2 was a pretty easy mulligan by the way. The deck is really strong and you have a lot of card draw to unmulligan.
Luis, after all those years watching your videos and listening to your voice, i just wanted to tell you: Thank you for your amazing content! Great to hear you are actually part of the Eternal Cardgame, heard a lot about it and i will def. check it out sometime soon. Keep up the great work, the MtG-World would not be the same without LSV posting Limited and Constructed Videos! :D
As far as i know, the shadormoor sets were pretty underdrafted, so there are less commons of those sets out there then some other sets (Dominaria). Also old commons can get pretty expensive, Serum Visions also had a pretty hefty peak.
