This movie was made on an emulator, with frame advance, savestates and rerecords. It is NOT meant to show skill; it is ONLY supposed to provide entertainment.
This gens port isn't that bad with the hardware limitations. Imagine if they had the 32x cd with a cart. They could swap date between the two and have high quality sound for both memory and space and cd music
Actually most people that play the 16-bit versions for tournaments prefer the Genesis version because there isn't very much input lag like the super Nintendo version has.
Honestly not to forget to mention the Genesis version had more stages and the characters had more frames of animation the game just ran smoother if it wasn't for the lack of color palette because of the Genesis hardware limitations it would be the superior version hands-down.
it was all about memory limitations and money.....this console could produce clear crisp samples and memory color improvement but it was expensive adding more rom memory back thens...
God damn this looks like shit, the genesis was actually capable of running in 256 colours despite what some people think and games like toy story actually used up to like 128 if I recall... Vector man also used more than 64 as well, mortal kombat is a prime candidate for this it's hardly demanding at all
brother this 1988 console is running main cpu from 1979-83 motorola 68000 the rest is a second cpu for sound zilog z80 from early 80's making it to 1997 playing it smooth and fast this 1995 video game bro with less lag game input.... better colors doesn't make a game better.
Gunz Fanatic It is a true 100% tas, since it brings entertainment, ignoring any speed condition, I took a purposive damage to do another combo. Basically, it's a super play and not speedrun that goes to the fastest time.
I advise you just play it here: archive.org/details/sg_Ultimate_Mortal_Kombat_3_1996_Acclaim_Midway_Sculptured_Software_Williams_US It's free no download necessary it's streamed, and I highly advise you to check out stuff on that website, as it has TONS of classic games, it has the first 3 mortal kombats, the oregon trail, where in the world is carmen san deigo, etc.
