If you choose to go to the Anglican Cathedral walk a bit further to the Graycliff. A beautiful old hotel. Stop at their chocolatier and get some brownies. They're phenomenal and worth every bit of the 15 minute walk from the cruise terminal on their own.
Thanks for the most informative cruise related Nassau video under 15 minutes. It's only after watching 3 others with no structure that I appreciate this video more. Subbed!!
@@kristinejlo Hi! Yes, probably because it is off season. The hurricane season in the Bahamas is normally from June to November, so there are less tourists. Not sure about the cruises but generally the high season is from November to April.
Very nice video Thank you. There has been many News reports of a rise in Crime in Nassau. One must stay vigilant but Any info on this and any areas you recommend to stay away from.
Hello! I am not sure because I visited Nassau only on a cruise ship, but I would definitely recommend sticking to touristy areas and not going far from downtown. If you want to explore further, maybe the safest way is to book a guided tour.
Hi! It's about 15 minutes walk slightly uphill. Upon exiting the terminal, turn left and walk towards Fort Fincastle (the water tower, you can see it easily because it's the highest point on the island). If you're not sure, just ask any local person and they will direct you. Enjoy Nassau! :)
@@peterthon4010 Hi, I visited Nassau only for a day on a cruise last November. It seemed safe in the touristy areas (I walked around alone). I don't know if the situation is the same now though :)
Hmm, I haven't been to Cable Beach so I wouldn't know firsthand, but I see on the maps that Sandals Resort is the main resort on this beach, maybe they offer a day pass or so.
@@AdventourBegins Thank you! I haven't been in a couple years and the hotel I used to go to has changed hands I think. Hoping to be back there this fall. ❤
Hello! Yes, they are, except for Fort Fincastle. You can take a taxi to go there and see the fort, but inside the fort is not wheelchair accessible. All the rest is fine.
@@AdventourBegins Do you know if there are any problems during the flight? I heard that some tourists may not be able to board the Havana-Nassau flight. I have a Russian passport, and I do not need a visa to the Bahamas, and I do not need a visa to Cuba
