Imagine going to see your favorite band and they perform with a metronome for a song. It's a practice step more than a trick, but seems like a trick because it's... tricky
@@TWDEColtBlooded I mean I find no comply tricks a lot harder then normal flip tricks not all of them obviously but definitely the basics. I didn't learn anything no comply until I got my normal flip tricks down so Idk how you could call them baby steps. They're just different tricks. And they look great in my opinion and I'm sure many others.
your no comply impossible wasnt a no comply. you did an impossible and just foot planted. the pop and the stepping off needs to simultaneous like how your friend attempted it. great video though! love your content!
What's it called when you no comply but you put your front foot on the toe side of the board instead of heel side like a regular no comply? (Sorry if the explanation is terrible, I can't find a decent way to explain it)
Sure it is. I'm 29 skating again from being a kid but actually quite determined to land tricks since starting again. I never had the commitment. A friend of mine is 40 and has took up skating since lockdown. No age to it imo. It's like riding a cycle or any other mode of person powered transport. Happy skating
Great game guys! but at 3:04 did I read that right? "nollie half cab no-comply"? come on jonny! for a guy who has "invented" a lot of tricks you should know better than that!! The term "nollie half cab" is a total contradiction as nollies are done with the nose (while riding forwards) and half cabs are done with the tail (while riding backwards).
Hi Jonny, I was going to name my video "ultimate" too but had to change the word so that it didnt look as I copied you. Yet, check mine if you can. I have few NBDs nc nollie triple & double hardflip :) This video was so entertaining. Keep up the good work :)
i find your videos the most entertaining to watch for some reason. maybe it is because of the complex of some of your tricks, it looks like wizardry to me haha
This was such a good way of doing the skate games, having the attempted trick name in the corner. I wish you kept doing this for the newer ones too, like the ones from brazil :)
The "No Comply Hand Shove-It" in 3:07 (no-comply-popping the board, grabbing the board toe-side with the front hand and completing the 360 degree rotation using the grab, jumping back on) is called "Tigerclaw" in Longboarding. I'm mentioning this since it seemed you didn't know how to call this. There are actually a lot of varations of these "claw" tricks involving hand flips, underflips, bs, fs, etc. The actual variation in 3:07 would be a FS Tigerclaw Bigspin since in addition to the 360 board rotation, DON8 also does a 180 body rotation.
I love your videos man but how can you do a re-do when you're leading and the follower doesn't get a re-do? Well, maybe your rules of the game of SKATE are different than mine, hahaha. Keep it up man!
don't you just love how Jonny does impossible and then sabotage himself by putting the foot down so it can be counted as a no-comply? Opposed to me who wants to do a regular impossible and do it by no comply instead lol
i dunno. dude would of had to redo those first couple tricks. also, can the person initiating the trick call a redo like that? I thought only the person attempting the previously landed trick gets a redo.
your no comply impossible is the wrong way round, you do a normal impossible and step off at the end, as far as i know its supposed to be the other way round
