Instead of counting the rest time between sets I frequently recite a count of 33 x subhanallah, alhamdulillah and Allah hu akbar, then after the third set finish by saying la ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laashareekala hu la hul mulku wa la hul hamdu wa huwa alaa quli shay in qadeer. Only Allah swt knows what is in the hearts, and our prophet Muhmmad blessing be upon him taught us to always think the best of our brothers and sisters in Islam. Same, I threw out all my western music years ago only to find my son s phone FILLED will the trash, some which i even listen to , ( drake, Dr.dre, other party music). Needless to say he listen to this now after i sat him down and explained why we cannot listen to it 😎
