Ultimate Predators (Full Episode) | World's Deadliest

Polar bears, crocodiles and anacondas are all ultimate predators, but their hunting strategies are very different. We'll see one seal put up a fight, but it is no match for the great white shark's 700 pounds of bite force. Watch as a polar bear, the world's largest land carnivore, tackles a walrus equipped with formidable tusks. While crocodiles are some of the deadliest animals known to man and are natural-born killers, all that matters to these predators is whether something is edible.

Why the Orca is not a top five is an oversight. Intelligence , pack hunting and a mouth full of teeth make it dominant in salt water.

They also get busy on the shore as well! They rip it out of the water onto the beach to grab seals and they’ve made canals that lead up to the shore!! They also will get a seal and won’t kill it but injure it and bring it out to their baby’s to practice hunting it and killing it! They will slap them 50 feet out of the water with their tails as well they can kill seals that way as well! They’ll see a seal on ice and they’ll go to the opposite side of the floating piece of ice and come up out of the water onto the ice so the far end lifts up in the air and the seal on the far end try’s to flee but it can’t make it up the slippery slope the orca created by leaning its weight on the ice and the seal slides right into their mouths!! They’re terribly smart incredibly and dangerous but beautiful!!

While it's true that polar bears, crocodiles, and anacondas are all apex predators in their respective environments, their hunting strategies are indeed very different. Polar bears are primarily marine mammals and feed on seals, fish, and occasionally other marine animals. Their hunting strategy involves waiting at a breathing hole in the ice, or stalking seals as they come up for air. When they spot a seal, they will use their powerful front paws to break through the ice and grab the seal, using their sharp teeth and powerful jaws to deliver a killing bite. Crocodiles are ambush predators that lie in wait for their prey, often partially submerged in the water. When an unsuspecting animal comes to the water's edge to drink or swim, the crocodile will launch a lightning-fast attack, clamping down on its prey with its powerful jaws and dragging it into the water. Crocodiles are also known for their "death roll," in which they spin rapidly while holding their prey, which can help to dismember their prey and make it easier to swallow. Anacondas, on the other hand, are constrictors and rely on squeezing their prey to death. They typically hunt in or near water, preying on fish, amphibians, and other small animals. When they come across a larger animal, such as a caiman or capybara, they will use their powerful muscles to wrap around the animal, squeezing it tightly until it suffocates. Despite their different hunting strategies, all three of these predators are highly effective at catching and killing their prey, and they play important roles in their respective ecosystems.

yeah I hear you. but we used to have Eastern Indigos in our front yard and I learned from reading about them regarding how docile they were. they're not venomous and they're not constrictors either. after they got used to our presence I'd find them curled up on our porch sometimes more than one. They're an endangered species too and gorgeous especially just after they molt. Well after they got really used to us I got curious about them maybe crawling up on me while sitting on chair between them. One was about 9 feet long or so and pretty big but one day I saw him watching me. I assume it was male but who knows! anyhow I put my hand down about a foot away from him very careful like and he crawled to it flicking his tongue like crazy. well guess what he decided to crawl up on my arm to my lap! he musta stayed there for over an hour all curled up and he had some weight to him as well I'd say about 25 pounds or so. It was cold so after he got warmed up or whatever he decided to crawl down and return to outdoors off the porch. After that I think he'd look for me what an experience that I will never forget. We moved away but I told the new owners to respect the Indigos in the yard. they sent pictures to me with them curled up on their laps & in fact a couple of them at once. as stated they're friendly but need to move slowly as to not frighten them. amazing experience that I'll never forget because like you I really don't like snakes. btw these guys eat snakes especially venomous ones!
