The cat on the screen door was hilarious 😂 Also, I did buy a lot of unnecessary things I ended up returning. I think what you have is spot on! I would just add a pet spray for potty accidents because sadly they do have accidents 🤣
Yes sometimes the over-shopping is so real! And I completely agree about the spray, and I do have about 3 bottles haha…thankfully I didn’t need them all! 😂 Thanks for watching! ♥️
You have such a lovely, calm voice. I enjoyed your puppy haul, I definitely felt that they were all necessities, even if they weren’t absolutely necessary :)
This was a great video with really what you need and not a lot of unnecessary stuff. The only thing I would be careful with is the rawhide treats. Rawhide can cause impactions that require surgery. We have the teething rings and my Milo loves them too. The crate is a necessity. Every dog I’ve ever owned loved their crate and went in it all the time to nap. We won’t ever not have one. It’s also a huge help if you ever need someone else to watch your dog in their home. Like for a vacation, emergency hospital stay, or evacuation due to fire or weather. Having a crate trained pup makes it much easier for someone else to keep your dog.
Hey there, I have trained a lot a lot of puppies, big and small 10 pounds to 180 pounds grown well starting at 1 pound .2 ounces as Cavaliers and Rottweilers that have gotten as big as 180 pounds. One thing I feel is an absolute must is Pucci bellsthey go on your door every time you go out you take their little pot and ring it when you get busy they go to the door sometimes you don’t hear them, but if they ring the bells almost wherever you are, you hear them especially with smaller dogs my big dogs would always really let me know. You know they’d be as puppies starting at 6 pounds and they were much more noticeable but these little ones when they go to the door I feel those bells are a huge potty training, tool and a necessity from day one thanks for all your videos love them.
That is a super helpful video Nice and fast right down to the fact !! Perfect for someone getting a new puppy Love de video and see sawyer as a baby puppy ,, I did crack up with the cat !! Thanks for posting !!!
Thank you! 😊 Sawyer came from a one-time breeding; so I don’t have any recommendations for you; sorry! If you are looking for a purebred Cavalier, you could look online for breeders of merit through the AKC…for a Cavapoo like Sawyer, it will be harder to find a reputable breeder since they are not purebred…maybe you can ask around your local area, vet offices, dog trainers, etc! Good luck! 🐾
Thank you so much for sharing the size of your puppy's collar! I'll be getting a Cavalier puppy in a couple months and wasn't sure what collar size I'd need for an 8-week-old. And GREAT point about the 6 ft. vs. 4 ft. leash! I never thought of that and was going to get a 4 ft.
Is that actually a cavapoo? Reason I ask is I had a cav and interested in a cavapoo but I loved the non curly hair of my cavalier. Do you have a breeder name so I can possibly get a similar style, so cute!
Yes he is a Cavapoo! His mom was a Blenheim Cavalier, dad a white mini poodle, and of course he is ALL mom! His siblings had the Cavalier coloring, and were “shaggy”, not curly! So it does happen, but not as common. Sawyer is from a one-time breeding so I’m sorry I can’t help you! (Side note that a breeder will probably charge more for this look, because they know a lot of people really like it!) Good luck, and let us know how it goes! ♥️
I know this is an old video, but raw hide is sooooooo unbelievably bad for your dogs. It can clog in their throat and build up in their stomach. It's so easy for them to choke on. Please don't give your dog ANY treat/chew/etc. containing rawhide.
Hello, and thank you for your comment! Yes, it can be…but I’ve been giving all my dogs rawhide chews for 30+ yrs…it is very important to never give them unsupervised though for sure! ♥️🐾 Thanks for watching!
I can see that you are planning ahead! The thought of a new puppy is so exciting, and I hope when the time is right, you find the perfect little buddy! P.S., I’m like a broken record about Homegoods, TJMaxx, Marshall’s, but seriously you can shave off a lot of money from your list and find the best brands of so much of the stuff you listed for less at these stores! 😃♥️🐾 Good luck!
@@sawyerswonderfullife7049 I definitely will go to those places once it’s time lol. I plan on giving my little buddy the best life I can, it’ll actually be my first dog of my responsibility, once the time is right.
