So pleased you guys have finally got your hands on an Esommet , had mine 18 months and love it , i do everything from off piste , trail centers , bike parks and just bimbling along bridleways and the Vitus just soaks it all up well done Vitus Bikes

Greetings from rural France where the biking is superb. Monday this week my Specialized Turbo levo SL Comp arrived. Been out a couple of times already and love it to bits. I now know what an ebike is all about. They are game changers. I thought maybe it would be a bit too soft and easy but if anything it is harder! That's because you can pedal harder and more consistently all the ride instead of almost coming to a grinding halt on those killer hills. Average speed is up and I get more fun and smiles per mile than I ever did before. When I see a hill in front of me instead of dreading it I can now pedal without fear. Loving it. Oh and Wales looks good too. Much like my corner of France.

Country side with woods and fields, probably a mountain or large hill , nice weather not full sun, nice gentle ride to top of mountain/hill some food/drink and then a mad fast downhill in race mode , no accident’s no puncture’s no drama’s…… perfect 👍

Excellent video. Sounds like a fun bike. I also enjoy solo technical riding - in the maple jungles of Vermont. My Turbo Levo put a smile on my face this morning as it climbed insane rooty rocky hand built single track and zipped me through pristine woods to a cool overlook over Stowe. As usual, I only saw a bear cub 🐻 and no people. A perfect pedal 🚲

Wow! Nice local trail choices. I about the end of May got my 1st EMTB a Trek Rail. I’m in my 60’s the climbs here in north Georgia USA, very hilly and mountains were starting kill me. I was wearing out my Eagle granny. Now, I can enjoy it much more and ride many trails that were too long.

To the chap who asked where this is. It's the Wye Valley. Did a ride from Redbrook following the river to the river Severn on June 4th then back up on the Welsh side (this side) back to Redbrook following the Wye Valley Walk. Vids are on my channel 👍 The route takes in the Devils Staircase which I had never heard of until I was in it proper so I just had to commit and hang on. It's a highly recommended ride, 39 of your earth miles on a Rise H15. I'm on Strava if anyone wants me to send them the gpx file 👍

Just caught up with this video and OMG! I often ride those trails, which are local to me, on my Vitus E-Sommet 297 VRX usually alone on my big days out and I have had more than a few coffees and cakes in the Wild Hare :-). To be different though I am an englishman living in Wales and I definitley can't handle those descents as well as Steve :-(. Glad to see a shout out for the Vitus team and the E-Sommet which is a fantastic machine and incredible value for the spec of the bike.

Nice to see some UK bikes being advertised. I used to ride a Vitus Esommet. Motor packed in just before warranty run out. Vitus were great, gave me a full refund after all that time, due to the fact they could not repair or get a new motor. They had no new Esommets in stock. Ended up with a focus Jam2 instead. The vitus was like an army tank, takes on and smashes throught everything.

I’m so jealous. You get to ride so many different eBikes. My new Turbo Levo is collecting dust cuz it’s currently 100+ (F) here in Phoenix. (It will flip around in winter)

Hi team, I love watching the videos here in nz. I'm wanting to replace my levo sl with something around the same weight but more power. I know of the rise but i came across the bh ilynx trail on the internet and I can't find a decent review in English. I'm hoping that you will be doing a review on it soon. I'd love to know how it goes before I pay good money for one. Thanks for any help. Rory devine

How does the E-Sommet match up on Sizing? I'm right between Medium & Large. Some say go up like a traditional MTB, some say to go down on an E-MTB & especially the E-Sommet if not on extreme terrain...........thank you to anyone who can answer me

Love these trail rides. Reminds me of my Jeep days venturing into the woods. Currently I just have a MTB but looking forward to my retirement next year and getting into one of these EMTBs. Just eating up this content and dreaming of the day I can get out like Steve!!

Natural trails for me, every time I end up at a trail centre I wonder why I bothered! Smooth surfaces, big jumps and artificial rock features just don't do it for me. I'd have loved them as a kid though.

I'm good with just tooling someplace to get some junk food and not paying 5$ a gallon for gas and or pay a delivery charge. The sun and fresh? air is a bonus.

Steve, I'm not sure why you were puffing after the tech climbs, EMTB's are suppose to be "motorbikes" that make everything easy and don't give you a workout aren't they? :)

Just watched a tv program called Bike World ( motor bikes ) ….and it makes the prices they charge for an ebike look absolutely ridiculous …Shame on the ebike fat cats ……excluding the Kenevo …I love mine 👍🇬🇧

Not for nothing dude but... Any punter can have a 'perfect' day on a ZERO miles eMTB. The REAL 'perfect' day is on your 20,000km daily rider when it is all put together and tuned to perfection...
