Great, this is one of the most important concept to learn to be profitable and not to blow account easily, I just notice you keep mentioning that 1% of 10k is $1000. Maybe you should edit this video and tell $100 instead of$1000 so not to confused some of your viewers, although the risk calculator says $100 but maybe they will follow what you are saying. Amazing video, just one little mistake and could confuse people if they aren’t good with percentages. At 12:28 you said 1% of $10,000 is $1000, it’s actually $100 . Thank you for this amazing video nonetheless!

@@davidbrooks2638 Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumors and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.

Tradingview can calculate the size as well. Put in a long or short limit order as you like it, add the % risk in and see the lot size. If TV knows your account size of course

As a day trader myself, I've found that the biggest payoff isn't the stuff, but the time and flexibility of life choices. I've also found that you become more of a realist when you invest since have to always discipline yourself to not be deceived by your own biases. Having an expert to guide regardless of the outcome is more important than trading by yourself- I agree vehemently that with John Adams your investment winning rate will increase

The market is very unstable and you can not tell If it's going bearish or bullish. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. When these reports are bullish take some off to the side lines, when news gets bearish start buying. "Keep it simple simple" that bear/correction was the best thing that happened me. Though I would like to correct ur math real quick ♧ In chapter 3 , when calculating the lot size for the 2nd example ur risk ratio was 1% in account 10 000 the resulting amount to trade on the position size calculator was $100 . You entered a thousand dollars instead ♤ in the example of course. ◇♡
$100 -25% = $75 $75 -25% = $56,25 $56,25 -25% = $42,19 $42,19 -25% = $31,64 It's not -100% but I get the idea :) Amazing video and W RU-vidr just had to be that guy that pointed the error out, stfu I felt special XD
If you dont know how much lots you should use, just buy 0.01 and place stop loss, then look at sl and it show you how much you risk, then divide risk/sl and you have result. For example 0.01 sl show you 2usd, you want to risk 10usd, 10/2=5 you have 0.01, just buy more 0.04 and place sl on same level

Great video . I usually set my risk reward 1:2 or 1:3 I can get out at my stop loss but take profits as soon as I’m profitable... I have a lot of small wins 80-90% but a few large losses wipe out a lot of my wins...any advice to overcome this bad habit that has helped you... thanks for your help!
Without proper risk money management, it doesn't matter how clever a strategy is. In the end, you will be liquidated. That's why, as you said, MM is a very important part of trading, and in my opinion, it's even 50%
