Yes I know this video is old but I have a 03’ Wing with a stock seat and purchased an Ultimate King on a Sunday a few weeks ago and it was shipped on that Monday, so that’s excellent service. I also purchased the seat with 3 Logos and rider / passenger backrest. Today is 3-3-24 and finally got to try out my NEW SEAT !! Rode for exactly 150 miles, I love the seat, much better than stock. For reference, I’m 6’ and 180 lbs, wear 32 x 34 pants. The King seat sits me farther back, I always felt cramped on the stock seat. Also, I have an upgraded stiffer suspension on front and rear. I have ZERO issues with footing using the King seat. Anyway, hope this helps others. I’m glad I got the King and not the Mid Rider.

I lucked out finding a used GL with this seat already on it and it's much more comfortable than the stock one. I have back issues and I can ride all day without any problems. Highly recommended. Thanks for the video.

Just bought an 05 gl1800. The first thing I did was order this seat. My street glide has a lepera daddy long legs...which I love...at 6ft 3inches the ultimate will give me the much needed room and comfort I need to go long distances this summer.

I was at Delmarva Bikefest and purchased a Big Boy seat for my 2002 Honda Valkyrie. The seat is GREAT but what really stood out was the customer service I received from the company reps. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and just plain friendly. Your competitors should take a lesson from you guys. By the way , my ride back to Philly was great. Love my new seat. Thanks.

Awesome seat. I'm still using my OEM seat, but have yearned for an Ultimate. I may miss not having one on my April ride, from Phoenix to Boston.

😅😅😅 you're right. Funny not funny. But Mr Brown has a funny and entertaining delivery. But he's 100% correct and why I just bought the 30th anniversary edition with 15k on it. I didn't like the 18 and I was waiting for the 18. My C14 was basically a 18+ if the bike undresses people while riding though. I seen some females I'd like to watch take it for a spin. 😂😂

im in need of a new seat for my GL1800, my factory seat is coming apart, cant decide if I want to just replace with factory unit or aftermarket seat,just don't know if I want to spend that much extra for aftermarket heated seat,maybe wait till tax time

I ride a Goldwing GL1800. I rode a friends bike who had the Ultimate seat. I loved it. They will be a Wing Ding this year. Hopefully they will not be sold out of these great seats.

When the pillion seat back is removed, is anything made to replace it, as I don’t carry a passenger. I’m looking how best to fit a carrier for a small-medium dog, so the armrest may be removed as well, or fix them to retain the carrier

If just changing the seat and not backrest for passenger do I still have to take it off to remove seat? I'm just replacing heated factory seat with a new one

What brand is the seat ? Cost? If you DON'T have a heated seat,can you add. Was the $$ worth it

This is an Ultimate Seat. Prices range with options of color and heat. Currently, you cannot add heat to a non heated bike.

I owned one of their seats and it is a comfortable seat, far better than OEM. Thier customer service after the sale if awful. My OEM seat had heat and at the time they did not support heat. When they later did they refused to upgrade min. Then they sold me a defective device that was supposed to allow the heated grips to work without the heated seat. I rate their seat a 7/10 and the company a 1/10. If you can afford Russell Day-Long, buy it. Better seat and far better company,

Good morning, Mr. Cooper- When our seats are manufactured, we use a heavy layer of adhesive to secure the cover directly to the foam. Due to this manufacturing technique, it makes it impossible to remove the cover without destroying the foam, and sometimes the cover. I apologize if you felt that it was a refusal of accommodation, I assure you that was not the case. I also have in my records that on 12/6/12 you contacted us about the heat grip connector possibly being faulty, and were told to send it in for testing, and if we found out it was defective, we would replace it. If you still have the item, and would like to send it in for testing, we are still more than happy to test it, and replace it because of your concerns that were documented five years ago. I considered your offer at the time for me to pay to send you your defective device but decided cut my losses and not chase bad money with good money. I bought an RDL seat and everything works as advertised, seat heat, grip heat, etc. This proved t me that it is your device and lack of interest in support after the sale that was the issue. It is just a matter of service and we have different expectations. My expectation was early adopters would be rewarded, not penalised. Your position was (apparently) "pay me again".

John Cooper I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THIS COMMENT I HAVE A DAY LONG AND THE ULTIMATE SEAT I HAVE THE RUSSLE DAY LONG ON MY BURGMAN 650 AND THE ULTIMATE ON MY GOLDWING THE ULTIMATE SEAT IS A BY FAR WAY MORE COMFORTABLE SEAT I DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH ULTIMATE SEATS I WOULD BUY ANOTHER SEAT FROM THEM NO QUESTION ASKED THANKS TO RUSSLE AND LIBBY LOOK AT MY RU-vid PAGE AND YOU CAN SEE MY BIKES WITH THE SEATS INSTALLED

if they made the Goldwing seat like they do the metropolitan scooter seat then Goldwing riders wouldn't have to buy a replacement seat that's when you need motorcycle riders designing motorcycles and not just an engineer
