Howdy sir, I have a shark RV754R01US, it cleans for two minutes or less before stopping with a flashing blue max light, I followed your disassembly, and cleaned the contacts for the front bumper with isopropyl. No change, I just thought you might have a suggestion for me to help track down the issue. Thanks for making the vid.
I I was hoping you might show what sensors let the shark know that the Dustbin is engaged, I can find no sensors or switches or anything for that matter that might let the shark determine that the Dustbin is put in place. And I can't get the air to clear and obviously the shark doesn't work the shark doesn't work with the error active
Have a shark self empty and it gives me an error 6. Says bumper stuck. I've taken it apart cleaned and checked the springs. Everything looks ok and very clean, but still get the error code. What to do next?
Wow you sure know what you're doing! I learned a lot from you, thanks.A few days ago my shark gave this message" please check under robot for an obstruction" So far I cleaned the brush roll and compartment and today pulled the housing where the filter is located on front of vaccum. And turned the unit off and on again.Still not working. What do you think the issue is? Vacuum is 4 month old.
I took my share apart to clean it. Put it back together and now it won’t turn on. I am assuming it’s a power connection somewhere. Where show I start looking?
I have a RV20011 that keeps draining the battery. I have 19.9 v on the base . I can manually charge a new battery to 14.4v but it drains the battery overnight. Any ideas?
My robot Betty keeps attempting suicide by running off the second story balcony. I think she may have finally succeeded. Hoping this video may help me determine what broke.
All your videos are very informative as far as they go and i have learned a lot. Only issue for me is that on my rv750 i need to replace the cliff sensors and have not seen a single video from anyone on how to remove and replace these. If you have one i have not seen, please let me know. I got some sensors that said non n type, but they were not correct. I would like to get some if you have them for sale and see how to replace. Thanks, Bryan
Guess roller brush gears tend to misalign and apparently melt , ,high stress parts made out of plastic instead of metal , , ,🤔 almost guarantees product failure , , , ,
Mine ran over some dog poo... took it all apart and cleaned it. Forgot how it went back together but thanks to this video I got it back together and it's now on the charger! Only problem is I have quite a few screws that I don't know where they went haha
Thanks for this video! We had a suction loss fault code. Turned out there was just a little hard bit stuck in the suction unit. Took about 40 minutes start to finish. 🤘🏼
I purchased the shark AI Robot. It was working for about two weeks. The battery is getting drained by the charger. I purchased a new battery and it drained the new battery while it’s charging. I know it’s charging because the charging unit led changes from green to blue.
Hi Smitty, I Managed To Finally Find A Electronic Guy That Soldered A Couple Of Wires Where The Pins Were But I Messed Up And Didn't Take Pictures Before Taking The Wire Clips Off The motherboard And Did Put Them Back On But Not Sure And Wondering If I Could Send You A Couple Of pics To Get Your Opinion? Man It Would Be Appreciated.
Hi,Broke Pin When Taking Out Battery From My Shark RV2001 VacMop And Wondering If You Think It Can Be Repaired Or Do I Have To Replace Motherboard, Very Frustrating And Shark Does Not Sell Motherboard, Any Help Would Be Appreciated.
Oh no sorry to hear, if you have to skills you can attach some wire where the pin went and just attach the battery with different terminals. If thats not possible sadly a new motherboard is the only option.
@@SmittysWorld Thanks Smitty,I Was Thinking Of Tearing The Vac Down To Get At The Motherboard And Maybe Solder Another Pin But Was Told Can't Happen And That Brings Me To You Wise One,Is It Possible If Pin Snapped Off At The Motherboard? Cheers
@@SmittysWorld Thanks My Friend, I'm Going To Rewatch Your Video To Make Sure I Keep It Organized When I Tear The Vacmop Apart To Get At Motherboard And Hoping I Can Consult With You If Needed, Thanks For Your Support. Cheers
shame that shark doesn't sell more replacement parts. This great video illustrates the point that if you don't know a repair person that has the part your options are 1. TOSS IT, 2. Buy another-with same potential. Cheap low quality plastic saved shark 3 cents per part vs your hundreds invested..
Where is the dustbin sensor on an AV2510 series? I took my robot apart and put it back together but it’s throwing a dust bin not installed error. I’m wondering if I misplaced the sensor, but I can’t see anywhere on the dustbin or on its space where a sensor could be
I have the Rv1101arus model and took it apart your video was great and very helpful. Trying to put it together and i have a metal weight that i have no idea where it came from. Any idea?
My daughters Shark Ion Robot Vacuum AV752 is making a growling noise when it runs. I watched your video and I think it is repairable. My Google search for replacement parts yielded very little for parts. Only the more common parts: brushes, roller brush etc. I am thinking the noise is coming from inside one of the drive wheel assemblies. Can you recommend a supplier for replacement parts and contact information. Your video was really helpful.
Good afternoon! I have a Shark Iron Robot 720 and I tried to fix it but it was impossible. When we press the clean button, the Spot light flashes few seconds later. I live in Brazil and I don't know what to do. We opened the robot following your video instructions and every single part is totally clean. What do you suggest?
How do you remove the front caster from its holder. I saw that you removed just the caster, but the Piece that holds the caster is broke and need help getting it out.
Good video. I bought at $40 set of sensors on eBay and the solved my #7 cliff sensor error. Had to snip some plastic to get the side sensors in. Better be a patient excellent dyi to accomplish.
Sounds like that is a different model board. It might work but there is a good chance it will have errors depending on what that port connection is for.
I finally got the correct brush mower. Before I put it back together I can’t remember what the 5 silver colored screws came from and another set of 2 of them.
Hey, I’ve got a RV990 and for the life of me cannot figure out how to remove the cover from the robot. I know you counted out 5 screws, I can only find 4…. My vacuum doesn’t have the one in the brush roll but it won’t budge like there’s still another screw
@SmittysWorld Any ideas why the app won’t connect anymore? I have an AV752. I go through all the steps of deleting the robot from the app, turn off/on, reconnect successfully, but then it shows up as “disconnected” and won’t let me program it. It used to work fine until I got a new WiFi router. Any ideas?
I grabbed a 700 the other day and was fooling around with it. It will move about a foot then stop. Not seeing any errors, just a beep every few seconds. You can push clean again and it will move about another foot and stop. Any ideas?
