@@MaxSupercars can I ask first ? This is SudExpress Brand , right ?? This standard DC Analog, You decoder sound Installed ?? or this Original Manufacturing ?
@@pinguintrains Yes. This is made by Sudexpress. I bought the DC version, because DCC Sound was available later and was more expensive by 200€. I put the ESU LokSound 5 sound decoder in it (same like from factory) and uploaded same sound like from factory from esu.eu website. I customized the loco a lot, added own features like servo pantograph, truck lights, engine room lights etc... Fans on the roof spin also by DC version. You have to add other speaker too, because that 2 shallow speakers from factory (also included in DC version) give no bass sound and are too weak.
Hello and great job on the light details and the motorized pantograph! One question though, did the snow plough already came painted and detailed or were you the one doing it? Need to get one like the one you shown for the EURO4000 Class locomotives (they are the same)
Hello! Thank you! No snow plow came just black with hole in it for coupler. I filled the hole with black plastic stripes and painted the small bolts with silver paint. So it looks much better and real... 🙂 Here my picture: www.stummiforum.de/t180721f2-Sudexpress-Euro-Dual-BR-10.html#msg2353592
What a machine this is love the colour on it sounds awesome where do I buy it from like how the fans work on it reminds me of my drs class 68 here in the UK cheers Paul
Actually this loco has been developed as replacement of older Class 66 in Europe. You can buy the model for ex. at www.modellbahnshop-lippe.com 🙂 Manufacturer is Sudexpress. Check also my other videos on my channel. I got a lot of video reviews... 🙂
Nice extra jems... :) So to have sound in the factory basic DC model ,all I need is a loksound 5 and lokprogrammer to load the soundfile from esu right? No wiring/soldering required to connect the pcb board to the factory installed dual sugar cubes?
Yes. You need to install ESU LokSound 5, download sound project from ESU website, load it into decoder and there you go! Loudspeakers are installed also in DC version. But they are poor. Too shallow speaker boxes produce low quality sound. So I recommend to install sugar cube or 2x cube speakers inside (Zimo, ESU etc.) - below pantographs or above truck gearboxes. You can see it at the end of my video or here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5c84sZE4EMQ.html
Hello, I could get a BSAS in AC. Does anyone know if you can easily convert it to DC? Thanks I have a DC Version of F=ma - it's a great model but the DC Version of Zugkunft (BSAS) is not yet available at the vendors.
Hello, it is hard to tell. The biggest problem are the wheels. The AC versions use wheels where left and right wheel are galvanic connected. In DC version they are insulated. But some AC versions use insulated wheels too and they are galvanic connected together on the main board. In that case you can modify it easily. Try to ask in this forum in this thread related to EuroDual: www.stummiforum.de/t180721f2-Sudexpress-Euro-Dual-BR.html
Hello! It's model from Sudexpress with following functions made by me: - servo pantograph - machine room lightning - trucks lightning - extra sugar cube speaker inside This model costs about 300€, DC version. The higher version comes in 2022 with DCC sound and servo pantographs from factory but it will cost about 500€. So I made my own servo pantograph (see instructions at the end of video) and added ESU LokSound 5 decoder and loaded sound for this Stadler Euro Dual from ESU Website.
I reviewed this video twice just to realize I wasn't dreaming. Can't I really understand what such a presentation is all about? Is it a video circus for children under the age of 10? Is it a new model presentation? If it's the second one, then it's an embarrassing presentation ... To explain (subjectively) what I watched. Someone gives money well worthed for a better cause on a barren locomotive but with "image". A product announced 2 years ago and which is not yet on the shelf (except few almost dummies), a fact for which there is absolutely no excuse for enthusiasts. After spending a lot of money on the product, he puts more money on the sound decoder, mounts on it effects that should have been offered by the factory (showing us that disrespect to customers is fine tolerated only for the sake of presenting the colorful circus on RU-vid) and "solves" the problem of the pantograph in an artisanal way that is generally inaccessible to the general public. Or if it is, it doesn t worth the effort anyway... Additionally, the "model" is filmed almost furiously for the most part and trembling only next to those paranoid lights mounted on ubiquitous cars at every shoot as if we were wild from the jungle that we had never seen light bulbs. What the he... is this? That presentation of the H0 scale railway model is clearly not ...
Ha ha! Don't be so mad! 😃 Thanx for critics. Based on your videos I guess you are in teenager age, but sorry if I'm wrong. 😃 So this is the video review of the model, which I like very much and added a lot of extra details. The purpose of the videos is to show as many details as possible. From your comment I can feel that you were awaiting this model for a long time and you had big expectations. As you know for sure, this model comes in 2 versions DC for about 300€ and DCC Sound with servo pantographs for 500€ - but you have to wait until 2022. Because I didn't want to wait, I have spared money and buyed the 300€ Version (actually I got her for 230€ 😉). The decoder I got for 80€ so I became a model for quite a good value. What should all those modifications like - lighted engine room, truck lights and servo pantograph mean? Just one: I'm a modeler, not collector. So beside collecting of beautiful models, I'm able to build my own models from scratch and modify and improve existing. That's what word "Modeler" means and if you are not able to make something on your own, or you got no skills or knowledge to do that, you are not modeler but collector. That blinking vehicles are my second passion. Beside model trains I like vehicles so they are there... 🙂 Actually my next hobbies are RC planes and helicopters and RC ships. I fly also the real plane and got license for it... 🙂 So I like everything about technics... 🙂 And why is my video made so like it is? Because I liked it this way to make... 😉 Someone can like it, someone not... 🙂 Everyone got own opinion and that's good...🙂 I wish you all the best and happy railroading! Enjoy the hobby! 🙂
