It came secondary to my long-covid and I was only diagnosed a few months ago after suffering with it since July last year! Mine actually isn't bad in regards to food/eating- it's actually the worst at night/causes really bad nausea for me so as soon as I started sleeping with my head elevated it went away. I also have PRN medication I can take if I need to. I just try and eat slow/chew food alot. Honestly most foods that trigger GERD are the same as foods that trigger my IBS so not hard for me to avoid- onions/garlic/fried and fatty food.and citrus fruits!
