Thanks so much for watching guys! I hope you found it helpful. I've written everything up in this blog post for you to look at too - mummyoffour.com/reviews/best-supermarket-delivery-service/
Ocado is back to normal being able to check out the night before the delivery is due now, they also have slots on the half hour. Great video it'sinteresting to see other supermarket options
I used to only shop at Tesco or Sainsbury’s but started shopping at Asda when lockdown started. Stuck with them because they were most reliable and they did best substitutions. Also do monthly Iceland shop. I actually really like Iceland and find them cheaper for certain foods! I’m in Scotland! Found this series really interesting, love your videos 😀 x
We use Ocado most weeks - I pay £1.49 a month for midweek deliveries. This was a special offer when I started and it has rolled on. Before the pandemic I has a reserved slot which was always booked for me - so handy when I forgot to order something because the order which arrived generally had the stuff I ordered every week! I’ve loved this series of videos, thanks!
I have an asda delivery pass. £6 per month for 6 months. Automatic renewal on. Free delivery on orders over £40. 1 hour time slots. I have a reoccurring slot automatically booked for every Tuesday morning. So I've had a delivery every week during lockdown without any problems. Thanks to Asda for looking after your valued customers during this hard time 👍
Great comparison for many supermarkets that I haven’t shopped with. We use Waitrose who offer free delivery over £60 and one hour slots. Prior to the pandemic the cutoff was 11pm the night before, but it is currently 12pm the day before.
Morrisons more points are quite good. Especially towards Christmas, they do four weeks where if you spend a certain amount you get 5000 points each week. So £20 off your christmas shop. During the year they also send emails offering 3000 points if you spend £25 etc. Does all add up.
Morrisons in my area also do slots on the half hour, but has been difficult to get slots. Tesco has been the best delivery for me. I was shopping for several families members. I found if I looked for a slot at 6am when I woke up they would have lots same if I checked before bed. Asda was the worst for substitutes, I had to stop using them for three months because you could not return (I did get refunds) and stuff was wasted. I have allergies and chose specific items Asda is the only shop I struggle with in regards to this. Other shops seem to read the notes on my orders. Tesco is overall my preferred online, Sainsbury's has been the most organised in person experience and even though more expensive social distancing/queues were always better there.
Great video. I normally shop at Asda or Tesco but deliveries were difficult to get slots for March-May so I did click n collect which was a great alternative n quite convenient for the way home from work. Slots are much easier to get at both now but from this vid I think I'll give Iceland a try to see how they compare for us :)
Hi Rhi!! Brilliant video..well done for comparing so much information. We have an Asda delivery pass that’s £5 a month, we also have a reoccurring slot which has been an absolute godsend...especially during lockdown. They also haven’t had any item number limits like I know Tesco have had...which has also been brilliant as I have been shopping for family too. definitely been worth every penny. 👍🏼
Our ASDA store does hourly slots, every hour on the hour up until 12.30pm, where they offer one hour slots every 30 minutes ( so 12.30-1.30, 1pm - 2pm, 1.30-2.30pm) up until 10-11pm. It must be different for each location. I will be looking at iceland for a delivery though!
I’m not able to get to the supermarket until the weekend and haven’t been able to get a delivery slot at Tesco’s or Asda ( the earliest is about 2 1/2 weeks ) I have a pass for 6.99 per month .... so on your recommendation I went to Iceland I went on at about 5.30 this afternoon and was able to get one for a 8-10 am slot in the morning there were tons of slots all week 🥳 ..... free delivery and £5 off ..... very happy .... this series has been so helpful and it’s much appreciated that you tried them all with the £ differences x
Hey there Ree; I've recently found your channel and absolutely love your videos with the hubby, the teenager,William, Bella and little Zara. 😊 I really like your content and just wanted to wish you well and just say thankyou for brightening my weeks. Peace and love to you all. Kat xxx ☺
Hi and thanks for all that info. Here (Merseyside) ASDA provide 1 hour slots. My Annual anytime delivery pass cost £55 in March. I've had weekly deliveries for several years now and that was an automatic renewal. Lockdown was "welcome to my world". Still, my "regular customer" status didn't give me access to delivery slots for several weeks and I relied on friends, family and neighbours. I piggy-backed on my nieces delivery slots for several weeks. I have used Iceland once, when ASDA's frozen foods were at a very low level. I was pleasantly surprised by next-day delivery AND the variety of items they stocked.
I have an ASDA delivery pass costs £5 a month for any slot any time any day. As many deliveries as you want in the month. With this they have also reintroduced their reoccurring slot which means I get the same slot every week which I’ve chosen and it reoccurs every week :)
I managed to get a delivery pass just before they stopped doing them at Asda, I purchased a six-month delivery pass for £6 a month and I believe the year one was £5 a month and that’s for any time, They are still 2 hour delivery slots and you can do a reoccurring slot that you confirm 2 days before delivery x
I always use Iceland for frozen the two hour delivery is pain if your busy however they will text you 6am in morning to let you know when in the two hours they will delivery which is 30 minutes
I may of mentioned before, but if you felt you like ASDA maybe give click and collect a go? We do, and as soon as you arrive they bring your food out to you. Really quick and easy ☺️
I found that ocado tesco and iceland are the best overall. The few times I ordered from asda I've had out of date products and damaged food. Ocado is brilliant for special diets aka vegan.
Waitrose is more expensive but don’t charge delivery in my area. Minimum spend is £60 but I always spend more in case something is not available. Cut off time is midday the day before delivery. Not many slots available. I have to book mine 2 weeks in advance.
Hiya, great video. Do any of the shops allow you to create a list of specific products that you can just add every shop? Like a basic list to build from. My first baby is due in early September, and I've made 6 weeks of meals in advance. However I have a list of items that I will need to buy every week, bread, hummus, etc - it would be so great to be able to have them on a set shopping list to just add the whole list to my cart as a basis for the shop. For some reason this doesn't seem to be possible on the Tesco app, and actually I have to go and search for things like my preferred bread every time, it's never in my favourites etc. So annoying!
@@hayleighcowell5438 it's so confusing, they have added loads of products to my favourites that I have only ever baught once, and I can't remove them. Things like holiday size shampoo.... Can't work out how to remove them, so I never end up using it as a feature cause it's always full of junk. It's strange, on the product page, there is a heart to show me it's in favourites, it looks like I'm supposed to be able to remove it by deselecting the heart, but it doesn't work.
@@hayleighcowell5438 ah, figured it out, well, how to remove things. Took 270 items out of my "favourites" (including Easter eggs, lol). Not sure how to add things yet, but will see how it goes 🙂👍
I pay £5 a month for an Asda delivery pass and have been doing so since 2018. I think they're tiered like Morrisons but unsure of the prices as I pay monthly. I have been tempted to try other supermarkets but since the pandemic I've stuck to Asda as I never lost my slot even when deliveries were hard to come by.
I use Ocado , a little more expensive , but i have a delivery pass . Hardly get any subs , with Asda used to get loads ! I had an order delivered today and could change it up to 12 o’clock yesterday , so think they are reducing the 48 hr cut off now .
I haven't tried any of the other supermarkets, but Asda in my area are doing 1 hour slots, and I was recently able to book one for 2 days later (on a weekend) in late afternoon/evening for £2. To be fair though, it's not always this good and as our area has now been put under extra social distancing restrictions again it is becoming a bit trickier to get a slot within a few days. Xx
I shop with Ocado weekly and have for several years. I pay £2.99 a month for anytime delivery. I did purchase this when it first started and they had an offer price. I think the non offer price was about £6.99
I have used Tesco since they started home delivery ,however since they have now priced all their slots at £4.50 & are charging £1.50 for click and collect,I think I may look elsewhere. I have been impressed with both Asda & SAINSBURY,HOWEVER Morrison’s in my area always seem to have a lot out stock or unavailable.
I have an Ocado pass . They normally do offers on it (eg 3 months free ) and I negotiate each time it ends . I currently pay 5.99 a month for anytime pass .
I’ve got an asda delivery pass, it’s £5 per month but if you don’t get a slot within the month or you choose a slot which would have been cheaper than £5 delivery you get a voucher added to your account for the £5 delivery pass back, which is fab. Also we have 1 hour slots on the hour (with or without the pass) and also I’m in south wales too - not sure if that makes a difference as to slot times?
I live very rural so only Tesco, Asda and Saisburys only deliver in my area. I never been able to get one for Asda, Tesco has been hit or miss but Saisburys I manage to get a slot every week
I don’t know if this is just my area but if I check in the morning and there’s no slots available on tesco, I can check back in the evening and more slots have become available since xx
Hi Rhi daddy Bella Zara William Dylan too awesome 👏 video as always compare them all and to find out which supermarket 🛒 is the best grocery hauls videos hacks back to school content 😌 delivery price £7 for Sainsbury's next is Morrisons £2-£6 pounds 💷
Here in Northern Ireland we have lidil omg 100% best for price it's the same version of aldi but yeah so cheap and I swear by it. For branded things such as washing powder and stuff I use tesco because sometimes they have a deal here and there but those are my two main
I book weeks in advance with Asda only as if I do that i know what I can get for me and my kids I like I can book In advance mine is only one hour asda not 2 hour slots and they take the money out your account day before so I like that we have ours on Thursday and I happy that we can get weeks in advance too
Iceland poor don't know how many times had out of date fresh chilled and bakery out of date and within sell by date poor pickers have now moved to Tesco
