About 6 years ago, I scoured RU-vid in search of a tiramisu cake. No one made it like i envisioned. I eventually made my own. But I'm so pleased to see someone finally making tiramisu, cake style. Very beautiful!
The wonderful thing about this divine cake, is that it has no raw egg yolks! I am highly allergic to raw eggs and I have never been able to make tiramisu for the same reason. Now I can, and enjoying every minute of it! Thank you so much! Your recipes are d i v i n e!

I just made this cake , turned out great ! The sponge was light, spongy and soft. I used cream cheese instead of mascarpone still tasted amazing. Would highly reccomend making this cake .
i love your videos and love it even more because you always use square pan. i personally prefer a square cake, it's easier to divide evenly to serve all guests the same serving size.
Absolutely unexpected cake, instead of the original - savoiardi based - tiramisu 🤔 I really enjoy tiramisu, and it is a part of my childhood, since my grandma was used to prepare it every Spring-end, also to celebrate the end of my hay-fever 😅 Now, although I'm a fan of the original recipe, I like experimenting and I really want to give this cake-version a try... will let you know how it taste 😋 Moreover, thanks for the trick of the paper to avoid cocoa powder everywhere 🙃😜👌 and - as always - thanks for this marvellous recipe 😍👍👍

Hey emma 👋 I have a question about your cream cheese frosting and yes I know that this is completely unrelated to this video 😂 So I wanted to know if I could use mascarpone instead of the cream cheese because I hate the taste of normal buttercream and I don't really like the taste of cream cheese 😊😕 whenever I make my normal mascarpone frosting , it gets soft and unpipable so I wanted to try your method 😊😋😙😙 hope you answer😙😗😗

Eggs add extra richness to the cream and give it a silky mouth feel. Traditional tiramisu is made with both egg yolks and egg whites. I will definitely post a traditional tiramisu one day😘 This is the cake version😍

I made the sponge cake tonight so I can put the icing tomorrow while I rest my DIY mascarpone overnight. The sponge cake is a bit sticky tho. So I toasted it a little bit.
