Just in case anyone thought I was getting soft....
The arena would explode in energy when this songs' first hit echoed through the place followed by the staccato cymbal catches and the Larger then life Jim Helwig aka The Ultimate Warrior running to the ring...no glitzy posing and vapid strutting, he bounced around and shook the ring ropes and flexed what was probably the best physique to enter the squared circle. Heavy Metal hair and facepaint......while not the most talented "wrestler" , he sure was an original. The only other man to pick up and body slam Andre the Giant! ( Hulk Hogan of course was the other, whom The Warrior ALSO slammed!). Andre beat the Warrior pretty good a few times... on purpose it has been said...because of his stiffness in the ring.
I followed Warriors youtube channel for a few years before his untimely death. He certainly expects everyone to carry their own weight, do the work and expect no mercy.
