I realized I forgot to mention water wells. Some water veins are being bugged out by sandstorms. If you find a water vein snap a water well to it. This will act as your intake and you can use the same techniques with the water tanks to transport the water back to your base location

Nice video, Scorched was my favorite map in ASE so a lot of this I knew but the remote filling of canteens was new to me. Also happy to see the Morellatops water stat works properly now :) Some random additional notes though: If you don't have the DLC, vanilla tanks will also fill in the rain - though as they have much less capacity, you'll probably need to set up a couple. In ASE, you didn't even really have to wait for rain - if you were out of render of your base, the tanks would slowly fill based on some algorithm that I never quite understood. I think ASA works the same way but I haven't really tested to make sure. There's also water veins scattered around the map that will provide water, but for some reason they seem to dry up randomly and then never recover. I *think* it's if someone is in render of the vein while a sandstorm is happening, but not 100% sure; I just know it happens faster on full servers than on single player and isn't related to how much water gets taken out of the vein. Putting a well on top of one will 'protect' it from drying up as long as the well is there (and improves how much capacity it has,) but I've heard if the well gets removed or destroyed the vein goes with it. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell wells won't share water into your tank/reservoir system.

Always learn something from crabby, never noticed the water gain from hitting the cactus itself. Must be spraying on your face and absorbing it that’s why it works with hatchet too haha.

Huh, I knew I could fill the water containers without putting them in the inventory of the tap but I thought you had to look at the tap, didn't know you could just be near it. Going to have to see what the range is as I had no idea it was just a range thing. Also love that you don't have to put the water containers into the inventory of them anymore, no idea how long that had been here but I swore someone said you could do it in ASE at some point, guess I hadn't played it after that had changed.

Don't even need a tap, just being in range of the water tank will let you fill your container wirelessly. Just like how crop plots don't need taps.

If some Destroys my metal water tank do i have to restart the whole thing or just replace it? And will it connect to the same line ?

The Morellatops dispenses other liquids too ... nothing you'd want to drink though

I think i have a problem i haven't the stone intake and metal intake engram why ?
