Do you know if using the "Beautiful Island Ordinance" acts as a second entity watering your flowers? I turn it on and off, as needed, when I'm too lazy to get all my watering done. P.S. I used your ground marking idea, to track my flower breeding - then realized that flowers couldn't grow on marked spots! Now, I can plainly see that you only mark on stone paths... I'm still working on a few, so I have a question: If I pair store bought red seeds from one island with the S.B. from my 2nd island,( or lief's), are the new red flowers they produce clones or 2nd generation? I'm still working on my winds and pansies.
hi there @isolanni!. Great to see your input.. I still am yet to verify this, but I believe you effectively get assistance of watering success via your villagers watering random flowers around your island. They'll at least water when you don't, but we do have to be vigilant to track flower growth the next day.. which leads me onto your other comment. Yes, they definitely WILL block growth when planted on soil/grass and nail on the head as to why they're on the paths. My brain isn't connecting S.B right now, but assuming you're asking if you can pair seeds bought from one island versus another? (or Leif) the answer is they're equal as far as I know, which is why it's essential TO buy seeds (not run the risk of unknown history of already planted flowers)
@@AlexiGiovani Hi Alex! I've finally got all but the purple hibiscus. It really is a fun aspect of AC. Very beautiful and Extremely profitable. Also, the villagers seem to really appreciate flower crafted items. I've noticed a large uptick in scorpion presence, now that my island is mostly rare-ish flowers. I watched your video on how to catch them,( the one where you had a race with your sons, a Great Video!). Is there a correlation between spawns of scorpions and blue/purple flowers? Another subject that I can't figure out is gifting... I have been given photos within a month of new villagers moving in, yet Diana, (the deer), will not give me one! Molly has already given me 3 photos, and I've lavished much less fruit, pricey clothing, etc. on her. ( I got both villagers back in November). Two other snobby types, gave me photos much quicker. I've given her crowns, golden wreaths and put up with extended boring home tours - I've made her a mermaid lamp, she calls me "bestie". What am I doing wrong? Thanks for all your help with the hybrids. Whenever I need a couple million bells, I craft golden wreaths. With the golds blooming daily, I had to buy the last possible upgrade to my storage. Too many petals! Did you know that one watering of a black rose patch produces new gold rose plants for two to three days?
I have been trying to get a purple pansy for the last nearly year. No matter how many times I've tried and re tried with new buds I just can't seem to get it. I'm beyond frustrated to be honest. These are harder for me then getting the blue roses.

I am #offline and have to keep it that way unfortunately (rural area -no unlimited internet-I know -what year is this?) do you have any tips that don’t involve online? Just water the 💩 out of them? I have some black, blue, and purple flowers but the blue and purple ones aren’t spreading out.
Hi there Suzie. If you have friends/family with another switch and the game you can play over local network. You’ll have to be in the same place (think cafe or something). Short of that, it’ll mean religious watering by you and you can increase the chances of villagers joining in by turning on the Beautiful island ordinance once you get to 3 stars. I’d also suggest having dedicated pairs of flowers. Hard to tell what you’re breeding (feel free to join discord if you need help), but by “spreading out” sounds like you’re starting with a clump of flowers which might make it hard as the outer flowers will be random hybrids.
Not sure if you’ve seen THIS video but this could help you too (without knowing what you’re trying to breed). This is the easiest and no fuss on getting some rare hybrids. Blue Roses take far too long :( I've managed to breed every other flower even the gold rose, the blue rose still alludes me :( I'm still trying after 18 months of playing...

Am just stating is game bc of my kids 😅asking me to play & long hours play( do know when it end bc too much to do 😱😅) & hard farm game I never play😅 and hard to kick some of them out 😱😅 ( with the flowers when not friend or only 1 friend who never have time to help watering your flowers is even hard game to me ) & i still 4 star it hard to get 5 😅 by the way thank you for many love video here you doing very well 👍 cute game but I find it hard lol
