The only thing I can think to add is whether or not the various aftermarket wheels are DOT rated. It could be a concern for some people. For instance, I believe only the magnesium Marchesini M9 are DOT; the M10RS are not.
Great explanation Mani 🙏🏽👍🏽. Totally agree that this is a top tier mod that a lot overlook. And makes such a difference to your ride ! Keep up the awesome vlogs . Thank you 🙏🏽
Not for nothing , the Ducati OEM forged aluminum wheels are pretty light. 15 lbs total compared to 11.5 lbs for the BST , I dont think $5000 BST for 3.5 lbs of weight savings is justifiable.
Have you noticed weight discrepancies with the BST wheels? I have the BST gloss carbon for the Pani V4 17x6.0 weighed in at 6.0 lbs and your saying it weighs 5.34 .
Waiting for my 30th Anniversary Panigale V4 SP2.❤️For me the most stunning livery of the ‘24 Panigales.Driving for 2 years now the SF SP2,and the factory carbon rims driving awesome.
Again Mani, amazing content and info. Cool video. In 2018 I bought the Panigale V4, and brand new I add the BST wheels. I've never ridden the bike with stock wheels. Before the Panigale, I had an BMW 2015 S1000RR. But damn the Panigale feels like a bike, the wheels make a huge difference!
Thanks for this video Mani, awesome as always. I was curious if the BST wheels on the SP2 were about the same weight as the BST rapid tek. I have been searching for a set of the OEM BSTs for my V4s. Hard to find a set of the OEMs.
My pleasure. The OEM ones will be very hard to find, and probably not worth it for the price they would be at once you find it. The aftermarket BST's are just as good. Only difference is design is slightly altered.
You should of mentioned repairs and use. I wouldn't recommend Magnesium wheels for the street. Most tire shops are bad for scratching rims and bending them too if they dont know what they are doing. Great video.
I would pic Magna wheels because carbon has really bad '''model/pattern when it start to brake'''and in street you can always hit potholes...and in WSBK they use forge allow O.Z
so we looking at the best racing bike money can buy , and the subject is upgrading this bike with useless upgrades WHILE THE BIKE HAS CHICKENSTRIPES 😂🤣😂. americans . . . . .
I have a 2023 BMW S100rr I’m trying to figure out which header exhaust I want to get and I don’t know what’s best. I want to keep my factory exhaust though.?
We have the ultimate exhaust guide for your specific application : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6qQGW36H-i8.html I think the Arrow headers would be great, they have both titanium and stainless options, it can bolt up to your stock muffler. Stainless header / mid pipe : www.motomillion.com/products/arrow-stainless-steel-header-and-mid-pipe-for-s1000rr-2020-k67 Titanium header / mid pipe : www.motomillion.com/products/arrow-full-titanium-header-and-mid-pipe-for-s1000rr-m1000rr
Awesome vid as usual. Just a small comment, carbon wheels and magnesium wheels are not homologated for two seats Ducati. A Streefighter will become a strict single seat motorbike for example.
What’s the difference between what comes on the SP2 and what I can order online? What is the finish on the BST wheels on the sp2, is it satin? If I buy the satin rapid tek for my V4S, will they look the same as the ones on the sp2 - If not, what’s the difference? Thanks
What we have listed as MATTE is what BST usually calls Satin. The difference is the spoke design. The spoke is just slightly different. You can view and order them here : www.motomillion.com/collections/ducati-panigale-v4-2022-2023/products/bst-rapid-tek-carbon-fiber-wheel-set-for-panigale-v4-v4s-v4r?variant=31757071941698
@@Motomillion I get that but I'm just stating that rotobox isn't as prevalent in the U.S market as I once thought. Rotobox has all the same regulatory requirements as BST, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.
