I put one on my Patrol (Armada in USA) as the factory settings for the pedal is overly sensitive. You would go over a bump on the road and the revs would go up a bit and since i have an after market exhaust you can hear it.

Anybody else have this issue? I installed mine and after testing it out, i parked my vehicle and pressed the lock on. It locked the throttle. But when I unlocked it, the rpm automatically went high and won't come down.

Can you do a video with locking the throttle and uninstalling it to see if it stays locked? like the head unit, and the piece that plugs into the pedal?I'm just curious if it stays in the programing of the car or it removes it. Could be helpful to in case you forget your code as well if it does remove the lock having it uninstalled. This feature is one I'm very interested in as I've had a vehicle stolen before.

Nice vid. Does it say in the manual or anywhere not to change the default driving modes while driving? Or at least when you’re not on the throttle?

Thanks! Yes, it says to do it while stationary or if moving have foot off pedal. Just prevents any sudden acceleration or decel jerks

Will connecting this Throttle Controller void my warranty? 2023 ZL1. I have already ordered one and it has shipped. I really like the fact I can disable the throttle which could prevent theft, but I want to make sure I thoroughly think this through.

It states that it does not automatically void the warranty and that there are a few dealerships that sell the controller as an add on. Can only void warranty if the dealer can verify that it was the controller that caused the issue on why the car was brought to the dealer. Personally, I don’t take chances with anything like that including my Range Device, so I just unplug anything before I go in

These wouldn't cause any issues, as they're basically telling the ECU what the throttle position is.

Unplug it and bring it with you after locking it. That’s my friends stock bumper, he did a bumper swap a while back

Hmm, does this thing work on standard transmissions? I've always driven cars with standard transmissions just as first line defense against auto theft. Being able to lock out the gas pedal would be amazing.

Yes it does, you can change the transmission in settings on the app or device to manual

@@JCSCUSTOMSWould you even have to take the module with you after you set the lock-out code? As you said, you can tuck it (and the wire) up under the dash and just use your phone to change the settings and to lock and unlock the throttle. Only bad thing I can think of by leaving it in the vehicle is if some ass steals that instead, if found, and then your pretty much stuck too.

me living in DFW area biggest fear is my car getting stolen so the lock feature is a big upsale for me. Plus doesn’t help my car had long tubes and eye catching.
